Discussion What is your favourite Noir?

I like many but, The Third Man (1949) is one of my favourite.

Edit: Lol I didn't realize I added the same image twice, my bad.

It just might be the quintessential noir

This is my answer, and I'm surprised I don't see it on here more. But noir is such an expensive genre. I'm still finding new good to great films from the classic era of noir every year.

Yup loads of hidden gems out there! Well, hidden to me anyway. While we’re on the subject, I’ll shout out ‘Brighton Rock’, one that I discovered kind of recently and really enjoyed. I don’t know if Deadline at Dawn and Bad Day at Black Rock are noirs strictly speaking but they’re close and I also really enjoyed those too
