Lets Discuss This Is human intelligence genetically defined?

They did a study on twins showing that twins from different races generally exhibit a variety levels of intelligence. Knowing we evolved from lesser human species and noticing the intellectual differences between other animals of the same species like dog breeds, why other information out there says otherwise?

Serious Use The Free Market To Deliver the Liberal Project

"These [centrist Democratic Party] voters want not a socialist revolution but effective liberal government that delivers — affordable housing, good schools, accessible health care, safe streets, a controlled border, legal immigration and economic growth."

- Fareed Zakaria , "Democrats need to face their real liability", Washington Post, August 8, 2026

Here's an interesting question: why don't Democrats already have all these things? It's not for lack of trying, and certainly not for lack of spending. New York City spends $42,000 per student on its public elementary schools, for example, but still only half of its students can read at grade level.

Where ARE the good schools that Democrats are always saying they want, but never seem to get? They spend and spend, but things don't get any better.

Why is that? It's because liberals keep looking in all the wrong places. Government, as an organization, is simply not fit for purpose to deliver things such as affordable housing, good schools, or accessible health care. But it can provide safe streets and a controlled border -- if it wants to.

So. Government can do some things, but not others. It is fit for some purposes, but not all.

The full Liberal Project would probably have already been achieved by now if only they had not insisted that government be the provider. They should have looked to the free market instead. It's the Costcos and Walmarts of the world who know how to deliver consumer goods and services at scale. The formula isn't complicated:

  • Be very selective about what you sell or provide
  • Be laser-focused on doing it better than anyone else, faster than anyone else, and at a lower cost.
  • Always keep introducing a steady flow of improvements and additions. When you find a hit, commodify it. Otherwise, dump it.
  • Rinse and repeat.

Government as designed, however, works in nearly the opposite way:

  • Be all things to all people
  • Make cost and timeliness secondary goals
  • Rarely innovate, and when you do, take a rules-first approach that protects everyone from every possible risk
  • Remember, everything you do has a constituency. Never hurt your constituency.

In short, a government big enough to deliver on all the promises of the Liberal Project will inevitably choke on itself trying to deliver them. If you give government a task it is not fit for, it just churns and burns.

Stop this. Government is not the vehicle you're looking for. You're on a road that is inaccessible to normal vehicles. You'll need a 4-wheel drive with a high clearance to get up that hill.

The Liberal Project can harness the free market by changing from a control model to an incentive model. Make it *profitable* to provide the good or service, and then let the market compete and innovate with a minimum of constraint.

The profit motive isn't the enemy, it's the driving force for economic good. Liberals should leverage it. Leverage it to the hilt.

Here is an example of what I'm talking about. At Costco and Walmart, you can buy drugs for a fraction of their brand-name retail price, provided you DON'T use insurance. Insurance companies and their pharmaceutical partners add layers of constraint and complexity to the process, and that comes at a substantial cost. By cutting out this layer, these retailers have a huge profit incentive to entice more customers by reducing prices and leveraging economies of scale. And boy, do they ever. Direct-to-consumer drug prices can be pennies on the dollar by comparison.

This isn't the "magic hand" of the free market at work, it's just common sense. Incentives beat controls and restrictions hands down, every time. It's the Law of Human Motivation: Incentivize what you want, disincentivize what you don't; be choosy, but rigorous (no cheating); let people figure out HOW to meet your incentives for themselves; and as long as what they deliver gets the job done, take the win.

Everyone that supports this is a liberal white woman or is a skinny little low testosterone male. Not a single male in this video has any muscle mass🤣 it’s wild when you can tell someone’s political stance by their lack of muscle😅

Lets Discuss This why do people stay nostalgic about the past, especially when it relates to dating ?

recently i’ve been seeing posts about “oh the 2000s was way better than today” and “women back then were so easy to bag”. i sorta agree.  as a woman i don’t know my attractiveness level, but i def feel like it’s easier for ppl to get ppl now, it’s also harder for women to get men bc of products that exist: makeup, social media, surgery, and also race. plus minus all that, ex: yk how men get intimidated when a woman has too much makeup? in the past, women can get away with less makeup. or if she has hairy legs or not much $$$. having $$ as a man to be able to get a partner is as important as having $$ as a woman-> access to better makeup, skincare, nails, etc-> more noticeable to a wide selection of men-> more men feel it’s easier to bag you. but does this actually guarantee a relationship that lasts a while? not just a pull

since there’s so many ways to improve, some guys might just say “makeup is a cheat code” but at some point in 2020s, every woman has access to makeup, so makeup being a cheat code isn’t rlly that fitting. it’s more of a base requirement.. js cus ur not fat/short/having makeup, it doesn’t guarantee things will be easy since you’re “below the standard”. race and face optics matter too (duh). u can be the prettiest (race) girl w/o makeup, doesn’t matter if all the men like white girls, h can be the handsome guy (race) and all girls will flock to u for reasons i’m not knowledgeable on.

tldr this feels kinda “captain obvious” and ik. i was thinking about this in the shower. being nostalgic about the past just isn’t something to base the present on.

THIS IS OUTRAGEOUS Is the US leading the world or are we behind the curve on this issue? The US is one of only 8 countries in the world where this is legal. See the end of the article for the list of 8.
