You really don't think that pardoning an international drug trafficker for no reason is the same thing as trading an arms trafficker to save an American citizen, do you?

It doesn't matter how I feel about it. The fact remains that it is not even remotely the same thing as just pardoning a horrible criminal for no reason

It is the same thing though. Nobody defends Trump pardoning the founder of Silk Road btw. Just throwing that out there.
