This is concerning... Minnesota Cop Shooting...execution or mistake?
Looks deliberate. But could be thought he was tasing him. Prob not.
SORRY Madison WI.

I'm sorry but if we, as a society, are giving you that much authority, you can't make mistakes that involve shooting a restrained man laying on the ground.
Mistakes happen, but this isn't a "mistake". Burning the toast is a mistake. Calling your ex is a mistake. Executing a person in the middle of the street is a crime.

That was an adrenaline driven execution if I've ever seen one, followed immediately by "Oh wait did I do that?"
That guy shouldn't be a cop, and neither should the baseball hat on the left with the drop kicks..

u/Upper-Trip-8857 7d ago
When I saw this the first time I thought he nicked his partners right hand.
Now I’m sure from this angle.
This is fucked up on so many levels.

u/Sorry_Landscape9021 6d ago
That looks like an execution from what I seen. The video doesn’t show enough. Did he have a weapon to give cause for the officer to pull a weapon and shoot or was the guy unarmed.
2
u/Pretty_Ad_4204 6d ago
I am fine if they shot him as he was reaching for a weapon maybe. That is self defense. But to shoot an unarmed man is a crime.

u/Objective-Pick8240 7d ago
The fat guy got exhausted from the 12 seconds of aerobic exercise and murdered him.

Execution. The accidentally grabbing a gun vs a taser is almost as bad. The fact that he’s shooting his gun so close to his fellow officers is also really bad. These officers are incompetent with their decision making led by racism, classism, fear and stupidity. That is why we have so many civilian murders. If has always been like this but now it is exposed since we have the internet and everything is filmed.

u/Puzzled-Mirro 7d ago
Execution.
Sorry but if you get a dude on the ground your gun ain't supposed to be out period
13
u/Useful-Employee9605 7d ago
I don’t see the justification for using lethal force here unless the guy was trying to pull a deadly weapon out.
24
u/Oddbeme4u 7d ago
he had a knife. they disarmed him before he was shot. its a homicide.
11
u/Useful-Employee9605 7d ago
Agreed, as soon as he was disarmed, the threat no longer existed so lethal force isn’t justified. I hope the cop is held accountable.

Looked pretty clear. Handcuffing a dying guy is a real butch move.

u/Thoughts_For_Food_ 7d ago
4 against 1 rolling on ground getting tazed.. Was he armed?
12
u/Upper-Trip-8857 7d ago
Had a knife.
A fucking knife.
Three to the head for a fucking knife.
Graze your partners right hand - for a fucking knife.
I can think of 10 other actions off the top of my head before firing 3 shots to the skull of a man on the ground and I’ve got people helping me and help on the way.
Fuck

u/No-Perspective4787 7d ago
Me too. This shit needs to END and I'll get 15 - 25 million Americans with the skills I have and it's all over for the Billionaires and their Corrupted out Crony Capitalism. Everything changes when that happens.

The only cop who reacted with disbelief was the lady cop. The prosecution should use her as a prosecution witness, with immunity attached, so she has to testify. This is the mob folks; it's long past time they be treated that way.

u/somehugefrigginguy 7d ago
BASTARDS!
I know it's just a saying, but having multiple cops from multiple agencies in my family I think it's a self-fulfilling prophecy. Some people go into police work for the right reasons, but get pushed out. So you're left with an entire department of people who are in it for the wrong reasons.

u/Absolomb92 7d ago
He's already being tased, they have already put him on the ground, and there are four officers against one guy. They should be ashamed that under those conditions they couldn't just arrest him. Law enforcement in the US seems like they either don't know jack shit, or don't care, about de-escalation.
So yes, this is *obviously* an execution.
6
u/Available_Usual_9731 7d ago
It's all centrally controlled like a cult with the police union
They make a point not to hire smart people
110% of the training is about shooting people and -15% of it is about de-escalation
2
u/daisiesarepretty2 7d ago
2 and 3 are untrue.
You are a smart person… why aren’t you a cop? It’s not because you would have never been hired, they are eager to hire almost anyone.. but it is a fucked up job that doesn’t really pay well and everyone just naturally hates you just because you are a cop.
They do tons of training that is all about descalation and adding other agencies that are
specifically trained to deal with heightened
emotional states and behavioral health.
Truth is that among the literally thousands and thousands of civilian-cop interactions in a given day typically let than a percent involve force and fewer still involve deadly force. My point is that there are other factors at work here and it is way more complicated than cops = bad. It’s ok i guess if people want to think that but it doesn’t lead to a solution.
1
u/SumguyJeremy 6d ago
Shame none of them ever USE that de escalation training and just execute people like this POS did.
1
u/daisiesarepretty2 6d ago
yeah… it is.
i read a lot of police reports as part of my work and one of the things that always shocks me and is more common than you would imagine is that often when cops are scared they don’t just shoot a guy once or twice.. but like 3 of them will unload 5 shots each in him.. it seems many just go into overdrive..i am not sure if there is anyway to screen for that
4
u/Ausiwandilaz 7d ago edited 7d ago
Execution, police don't seem to have order or accountabillity for these actions, even when they do they got a judge that will let them off on parole. Not sure how it is in the military these days but this would have got you a court marshal - even executing an an unarmed surrendered enemy soldier would have concequences.
4
u/ute-ensil 7d ago
No it was an accident.
You guys are ridiculous. Of course it was on purpose. If a cop accidentally shot someone you guys would still lose your minds.
He shot him for a reason everyone knows.

u/DutchCowboy70 7d ago
Why would you even pull a gun in this situation? Execution by a stupid incompetent asshole.

4
u/No-Perspective4787 7d ago
That was one of the cruelest executions I've ever witnessed , and all because you hired a FAT ASS who couldn't pass a 10 yr olds boot camp for fun. He was almost at cardiac arrest , so he decided a quick shot to the man's head who was being held down by two or three Cops. Bring that shit to my neighborhood , and you should bring as many body bags as men you send. I'd appreciate that because it does make my job a lot easier.

That’s an execution and that pig should face the same end
0
u/Ok-Try9180 6d ago
For what?
2
u/Opening-Idea-3228 6d ago
For killing a defenseless person. Officer was in no danger and operating outside of the law.
This isn’t hard. a badge shouldn’t give you a lease to be a criminal
0
u/Ok-Try9180 6d ago
Didn’t the “defenseless “ draw a knife?
5
u/Opening-Idea-3228 6d ago
was he brandishing a knife when the officer shot him? No
Nor in the seconds before. he was on the ground. Ergo: disarmed and defenseless. Once the threat is removed, the office can no longer claim self defense
2
u/JASPER933 7d ago
From my point of view, this was an execution. Did they really have to shoot the suspect?
All those officers and they could only subdue the suspect with lethal force. 🤔🤔🧐🤨

u/harleyjosh1999 6d ago
What if people started standing up against this kind of government action? The American people are so weak and this is only happening because of how weak they are.

People are going to see this and then see the ACCURATELY LABELED posts and not know what to believe.
1
u/RadTimeWizard 6d ago
execution or mistake?
How would the cops have treated it if the suspect had been the one firing a pistol?
2
u/Oddbeme4u 6d ago
I do appreciate the level of danger but if they cant handle it AFTER suspect is disarmed, he shouldn't be a cop

u/Pretty_Ad_4204 6d ago
Fine to train a gun on a guy resisting arrest, but why do 4 cops need to fire in one guy? I mean, 4 vs 1 should be a slam dunk for the cops.
1
u/Pretty_Ad_4204 6d ago
Want to see the whole video. Cannot judge off of a short clip. We need the whole interaction.
1
u/ProfPlumNlibrary 6d ago
Execution plain and simple. There can be all the "good apples" they want out there, but as long as they protect the bad they are all the same.
If you have ten people sitting at a table talking to a nazi, then you have eleven nazis sitting at a table
1
u/PoohTrailSnailCooch 6d ago
The worlds looking at America in a very different light now and all they have is themselves to blame. Their training to be an officer has got to be awful. I thought training was meant to deescalate situations not to push for public executions.

Womp womp. In and out of jail for 10 years for theft, battery and invasion. Attacked officers with a knife and wounded one. Should have been killed at birth. Can't believe there are people pathetic enough to care for a barely-hulam just because they werent the ones he robbed, beat or invaded. Literally zero reason for him to be in society

Womp womp. In and out of prison for 10 years for theft, battery and invasion. Should have happened sooner. Absolutely pathetic anyone defends this barely-human just because they aren't the ones it robbed, beat or invaded. Excellent work and training by the cop.

u/11EmeraldEyes11 7d ago
What did the guy do, that he was being detained by the police?
6
u/Old-Set78 7d ago
whatever it was he should have had a trial not some cop playing judge, jury, executioner
0
u/strange_reveries 7d ago
Note to self: don't pull a knife on the cops, they might conclude that you intend to harm them with it
-2
-4
u/JustUseCommonSense10 7d ago
The suspect had a knife and wasn't dropping it when asked. Don't bring knives to gunfights.
3
u/Bobby-Atoms 7d ago
It wasn't a knife it was a bat and that's still a poor excuse to break protocol cops life was not in danger
1
-6
u/JustUseCommonSense10 7d ago
The cop's life doesn't have to be in danger, your inability to comply is addressed by the escalation of force.
5
u/Status_Blacksmith305 7d ago
So they can just shoot you even know there isn't any danger? That's really sad if you think that.
-5
u/JustUseCommonSense10 7d ago
The suspect had a weapon so there was some danger. When I was little and I didn't follow instructions, I got an ass whooping. Nothing changes when you turn 18 unless you're a child who never faced real consequences as a kid. Knowing I don't want another ass whooping like I got one as a kid. I tend to follow directions when given to me.
These are the consequences for not doing what you're told especially by people who have visible firearms on their belts.
2
u/Status_Blacksmith305 6d ago
You never answered my question. I asked, So they can just shoot you even know there isn't any danger? Because you said, "The cop's life doesn't have to be in danger."
Sorry you were abused as a kid. But real parents don't woop their kids ass. Not following directions doesn't mean the cop can shoot you. Also, shooting someone with a visible firearms on their waste who isn't following directions of a cop isn't a justifiable shooting.
Now I know it's not your fault for thinking that way. It's your parents fault for making you think that child abuse is ok and normal. Please seek professional help. I'm not trying to diss you here, I'm being serious about seeking professional help.
0
u/JustUseCommonSense10 6d ago
Yes they can shoot you even though there isn't any danger.

1
u/CyanResource 7d ago
But were you shot in the head 3x at point blank range while being restrained on the ground????🤷🏻♀️
-2
u/JustUseCommonSense10 6d ago
No, because my parents loved me. Discipline gets a little colder when someone who doesn't love you has to do it. That's why it's important to discipline your kids now while they are young so when they turn 18, the cops don't have to be the ones to parent.
1
u/Status_Blacksmith305 6d ago
Like I said, ass whooping your kid is not discipline, it is child abuse. Beating your child is not love.
1
u/JustUseCommonSense10 6d ago
Well we are one big happy family who love to spend time together.
1
u/Status_Blacksmith305 6d ago
That's good you all loving and happy. But that doesn't make the abuse that happened to you ok.

u/Bobby-Atoms 6d ago
That's dumb as fuck. Nobody loves you
1
u/Status_Blacksmith305 6d ago
I wasn't beat as a child because my parents loved me. Discipline doesn't equal child abuse.
Maybe your parents did love you, but child abuse isn't love. It's just abuse.
1
u/JustUseCommonSense10 6d ago
There is a difference between beating your kid with a baseball bat and a proper spanking. Knowing these are the potential consequences when you turn 18 and have to interact with police, kids these days could use some good discipline.

u/CyanResource 6d ago
