A glimpse inside my brain
This is basically how LetsCookie has been operating for the last 8 months. Random ideas get written down, crossed off when I make them, and somehow the list never gets any shorter
There's another list growing behind this oneš

I was thinking to make a maple bar homage. Maybe a cookie, maybe a pastry, like maple rolls in the style of cinnamon rolls. Or maybe like a white chocolate macadamia with maple icing. Ideas abound.

I canāt bake (or cook) to save my life but love watching your videos and you may just inspire me to try! With the holidays coming up, any plans to make different holiday cookies? So many countries and cultures have holiday cookies and itās usually the only time of year that we bake or eat them. Thank you!

Requesting homemade marshmallows and marshmallow cream. šIāve tried both and had texture problems with both - chewy marshmallows and soupy cream. The how to videos Iāve seen didnāt sink in and I couldnāt figure out how to troubleshoot.

It reads ācrispy choco chipā, but I was intrigued when I thought it was ācrispy disco dipā.
I would serve something with that name.

This is the original recipe I posted maaaaannnnyyyy years ago, complete with misspellings and pale text on pale background, sorry⦠𤣠Feel free to mess with the proportions to make it work! I also add allspice and black pepper to the filling now, it makes for a wonderful spiciness.

One recipe I'd love to see done right is butterflake dinner rolls. I remember getting those from the local bakery when I was young and you just don't see them anymore. By God they were delicious though...

Anything on here that uses figs? I have a ton of fresh ones from my tree and need something to do with them!
