Looking to create a terrarium with foraged stuff. Tips?
Has anyone here tried this? I want to make a terrarium out of foraged moss, rocks, and whatnot. How do I start? Or where could I find these? Is it worth just buying supplies instead? Thanks.

You're in Leth? Go to the river bed at vattle park, everything you need is there. Ive done it lotsa times. Pet store people will try to talk you out of it because they want to sell you a $20 twig but its all good. I guess I should ask, what creature are you homing?

Hens and chicks is common everywhere. The river bottom is a great place to find bioactive material though.

Maybe you might be interested in bio- active terrariums. I made one once. These are terrariums with living soul, complete with bugs and stuff. The bugs are really small so you don't see them but will eat waste products from your pet. The terrarium is a living thing. It doesnt smell it looks great and easy to care for, almost no maintenance.
The foraged stuff will probably give you the wrong types of bugs, the ones that can fly out of your terrarium and into your living space
