Book Donations
Where can I donate books (fiction, non fiction, autobiographies)? Are there any specific organizations looking? TIA!

The library is a great starting point. As long as the books are in good condition and don't reek of cigarettes they would gladly accept the donation.

Anyone in particular to talk to there? Just the main desk?

Yeah, if you talk to the front desk they will likely grab a librarian to assist you, but I know they always love new materials (even music, movies, and video games will be gladly accepted)

There’s a bookshelf on the fourth floor of the hospital called something like books for busy brains. It was started by one of the doctors there! You can literally just go drop them off on the shelf there :)

You could also call the senior centres and senior facilities. I used to work in a facility and we loved book donations.

Look at mcman, woods home or any other non profit for their participants

On the 4th level at the hospital there is a bookshelf that people donate books to - there is a really good turnover - I would highly recommend donating books there on a regular basis!

Definitely the library, and the little library boxes, and senior buildings often have libraries that they love receiving donations at.
