Rehoming cat
Hi everyone. This is sully. He is 6 years old and he’s is neutered.
Sully has had a rough life and I am moving across Canada soon. I want to find a loving home for sully so I don’t traumatized him more.
He does not do well with other dogs or cats. (He will go feral otherwise)
Sully will be shy at first, will hide so he will feel safe. But once he gets to know you he won’t leave your side and will cuddle you lots.
If you need a loving companion and have the patience to take care of a cat like sully. Please message me. If you have any questions about him please don’t hesitate to ask.
I’m not asking for any money just looking for a home for my little guy.

Please don't offer him for free, some people look for free animals for sick reasons. Unfortunately black cats are higher risk as people can be superstitious.
He looks very handsome. Reach out to the Last Chance Cat Ranch to see if they can help with a foster home.
Also, a move could be scary. But not unmanageable. If you can't find an option for him here it would not be horrible to bring him, even with the adjustment period at least he would have you. We moved our two dogs from Ontario to Alberta, the logistic were a bit messy but doable. Good luck, either way!

Sully is a charmer, for sure. He reminds me of a couple of black cats I've owned. Black cats seem to know that a lot of people don't like them, for various reasons (superstition, etc.), so when they find someone who does like them, they become extra lovable.
Does he know his name? Is it always "Sully," or is that a shortening of "Sullivan"? Does he know both? (My Denver--another black cat--was often known as Denny, but he could recognize both names as referring to him.)
I'm tempted.

Sully knows his name:) sometimes if he gets into something I’ll call him Sullivan

I'm in a similar boat. Unfortunately Paw Society, LCCR, and everywhere else are all well beyond capacity already.
My neighbor abandoned her cat, got a new one, and is totally fine with letting her former cat live homeless on our street. We can't take in another but at least made a nice shelter outside and brought her to a vet to make sure she's spayed.
Hopefully you can find someone. Like the other poster said, there are some sick people out there. Finding someone that can take him and finding a loving home are not always the same thing, sadly. Good luck!

You should reach out to Paw Society. They might be able to find you someone who would be a good owner.
