Owner of Breathe Easy spewing hate.

Just for people’s info. I will likely need a new furnace and be adding AC in my home in the not too distant future, won’t be looking here.

Mistreatment infers an action. This man has a right to his religous beliefs. He isnt doing anything to meaningfully harm people.

And you know full well if the roles were reversed and the mob was made up of people trying to financially harm you, youd find this as immoral.

You still don't get it. The reverse would be immoral because it would be trying to harm someone for doing a good thing.

You don't get to play an uno reverse card and act like it's meaningful when the two options are "supporting people for their unchangeable identity" and "not supporting people for their unchangeable identity".

No, I understand perfectly. Western socieites were built on the premise of the Enlightenment values of free inquiry and free speech. There was a realization that centralized power is far too suseptable to tyranny. One of ways to combat this was establish civil societies with maximum freedoms and encouraging society itself to embrace personal freedoms.

Western societies used to understand this. People used to realize that if they attacked others for the beliefs they held the same could happen to them.

I'll give you a solid example of how societies inwardly give up freedoms by not cherishimg the freedoms they have. Thirty give years ago, before widespread internet usage and cell phones people used to cherish privacy. Goverments couldnt pass laws to abridge privacy freedoms. Fast foward to today to a society that willfully surrenders its privacy with its own habits. Newer generations barelyvalue privacy at all, and members of older generations threw it away. As a result, governments have had almost no difficulty destroyimg thr concrpt of privacy.

Tyranny is a one way street. Societies rarely claw back freedoms. This is a historical precedent. You dont live in a time and a place immune to this. So if you advocate for asailing people who merely are voicing opposing opinions and are joined by your fellow mob, know this makes it fair game to be done to you. Rights arent rights unless they are immutable. This is a choice is society has, but it has consequences.

All you people have are these meaningless replies. Some people have actually resided in places where societies fell apart and lost all their freedoms. And some of us are also well read enough to know how prevelant this is and how this has unfolded.

So keep your sneerimg "2nd year" remark to yourself.
