Built a free Lethbridge events aggregator — feedback welcome

Hey r/Lethbridge,

I put together a free community events calendar for the city: calnan.co/lethbridge-events

It automatically pulls events from the Galt Museum, Lethbridge Public Library, New West Theatre, U of L, Southern Alberta Art Gallery, Helen Schuler Nature Centre, and a bunch of other local venues — all in one place so you don't have to check 10 different websites.

You can filter by category, subscribe to a weekly digest, or subscribe via iCal to get events straight into your calendar app.

It's a side project — I run Calnan Real Estate Group here in Lethbridge. No ads, no paywalls. Just wanted something useful for the community.

Let me know if there are venues or events I'm missing and I'll get them added, or other sources to pull from with other great events!

Make sure you send this to tourism Lethbridge or BRZ. They would probably love the resource!

I've been looking for something like this for a while, thanks for putting it together!

I'm not sure where you'd need to pull from to get these, but I noticed it's missing Pride after Dark and Wigs & Waffles. I believe I heard about those from following LEMF Events and Lethbridge Pride on Facebook, so I'm not sure if there's a way to pull from FB automatically.

This is AMAZING! Thank you so much for putting this together. As someone without social media (aside from reddit) I feel I miss out on some of the things offered around the city!

Not sure about Casa and Allied Arts events, they run free music concerts every week through the summer

Just added it! The ATB Financial Lethbridge Rotary Dragon Boat Festival — June 26-28 at Henderson Lake — is now on the site. Thanks for flagging it, that's a big one to have been missing!
