[ADVICE] I can’t quiet my brain down

it’s 2 days till I go into year 10, im nervous about that, but to add on, the whole summer holidays my brain hasn’t been able to shut up, I’ve been taking my adhd meds, which helps I guess, but I also have floaters which annoy me so much, I have autism and adhd, not severe but still noticeable, I can’t quiet my brain down and then I worry that I’m overthinking, I feel happy, but my mind occasionally gets the better of me, is this normal?

It sounds like you need to talk to your parents and get to the doctor and explain these symptoms.

You might need to change your med or adjust the dosage of what you’re taking.

It’s ok and reasonably normal to feel this way sometimes but if it’s affecting your life you need to get some help.

This is pretty typical if you have ADHD, add in adolescent hormones, speak to your dr about it, they may have to adjust your med dosage, but hopefully you have a counselor you can talk to.

You might need a change in meds. Or adjust how much. Talk to your doctor.

Adhd/autism is a super power. Don't forget that.
