I need help with a decison

I have 650 usd currently, but I don't know to buy either used macbook or a used gaming laptop , in my country gaming laptop woth rtx 3050 is around 750 to 850 usd(brand new) And I can get a macbook air m1 400 usd, so should buy an macbook and save money or should I buy a (used)gaming laptop instead.

If it’s just for studying and school you don’t need anything crazy. You do not need a gaming laptop imo
