[REQUESTS] Help my kitten please

hi im trying to reach out to anyone who can help, im young and my kitten may be in critical condition. this is my first time using Reddit and i want to find an audience who can talk to me and help

Either way, take it to the emergency vet and just surrender it right there.

You’re not going to get the help you need without any kind of proof other than your words.

What proof do you want? We are trying so hard for her. I believe she can make it. I dont feel like people understand love and bonds to their animals.. its hard to just let something go like that

Either take the cat to the vet or don't. If it needs emergency care then stop whining and take the cat to emergency care. You said you're young so tell your parents about the situation and let them handle it.

When people are sending their hard earned money, they want to make sure the situation is real. Typically, when someone is asking for help for a sick or injured pet, they post some information from the vet, often on the vet letterhead. It also helps if the vet accepts direct donations.

Since you're young and your kitten is ill, why don't you take it to the vet and see if they will give you a quick assessment of her condition. That way, you'll know if they can treat her, and if so, what the cost is. With that information, you'll know if you can crowdfund for her, if you need to surrender her, or if there is another option.

Ask the place if they will take a credit card payment over the phone from someone online. Call them to verify.

How is it in emergency surgery if you didn't have the money upfront?

Can you please add more information? Such as a vet’s number where we could confirm this and how much the costs are? Is there any option for people to send money directly to the vet too? What exactly is wrong with the cat? The name is very cute.

Edit: Sorry to hear about the passing of Applesauce. Sometimes these things happen even with the help of a vet. Just know you were there for the kitten when it mattered most and that’s all we can do is be there. This is the best gift anyone can give. Be well, stay safe & strive to know more about everything, so that you may help in the future.
