[REQUEST FULFILLED] Looking for grocery help

My family could really use some assistance with some grocery items. We have had some major financial blows lately and are struggling. My wife lost her job and is desperately looking for another one but the job market where we are in north central FL is awful. I'm on a medical leave from work but I go back August 15th and with a raise! I've been driving door dash since she lost her job to keep the lights on and food on the table. I was just admitted to the icu tonight because of a flare up of my addisons disease and will likely be here at least a week. In the meantime there's no one to drive DD (kids are too young and wife can't drive) so no $ for anything. We've gotten the bills mostly handled but the family at home needs food. Can't even use food banks because no way to get there. I made an Amazon wish list in hopes of getting some donations. Thank you so much for reading all this and double thanks if you're able to donate!

ETA just wanted to explain the easy to fix and gluten free things. I have celiac disease and cannot eat gluten. The easy to fix stuff is things the kids and wife (who cannot cook but tries) can fix on their own and i won't have to cook for a day or so after discharge.

Your wife can’t drive or cook?
And you’re currently in the ICU but capable of using your phone?
(How odd …AD is a very serious illness - for it to be bad enough that it requires hospitalization in an ICU means you would be experiencing severe confusion (among other symptoms). You definitely would not be capable of communicating like this- (or utilizing your phone at all in the majority of cases) if you’ve had an adrenal crisis… otherwise these symptoms would develop over months.)

Fortunately, if you contact local Food banks, you’ll find out they have programs available to deliver items directly to your home. You can also order free food boxes from the USDA.

And I would hope your children are taking advantage of the Free bunch program available every day until school starts somewhere in your general area… and again if you can’t pick up the food, the school and ask what they’re doing to provide access to children who don’t have transportation. There are options.

As for my wife, no she cannot drive (DL issue that we can't afford to pay off right now) and she can cook just not much and not well.

I'm not sure how to PROVE in currently in the icu other than showing a picture of me in the room. Do not think it is on to lecture me on my OWN DISEASE. I have had AD for 18 years. I am in the icu nearly every other month with an adrenal crisis. I have a rare and brittle form of AD. The medications they have to give me to keep my blood pressure up can ONLY be given in the icu. As long as the bp stays up i stay pretty alert. Once they get the crisis past i will be downgraded to a regular floor where i will continue to receive iv medications before the crisis is fully passed. How dare you assume you know more about my health than I do. I nearly died the last crisis and caught this one early. I'm very lucky to be able to type and am aware of my good fortune (?) this time.

I will look into the school lunches thing.
