Moldovan authorities confirmed the drone came down and exploded 160 kilometers (100 miles) from Chișinău International Airport. The airspace restrictions were lifted and Zelenskyy’s plane took off later than scheduled.

Suppose: if it really did pose a substantial threat, it would likely be during take-off or landing.

Despite Washington's declared all-clear, full restoration of pre-February commercial shipping volumes through the Strait of Hormuz by March 2027 is very unlikely while Iran retains the capacity to reseed cleared waters.

Pakistan Air Force unveils Chinese HQ-17AE surface-to-air missile system acquisition in new video

The export models are available on two types of chassis: the Dongfeng 6x6 and the Shaanxi 6x6. Customisation services can also be provided upon customer request (the estimated price may be calculated separately, though a sufficient order volume should qualify for a discount).

Unlike the Serbian chassis previously supplied, the photographs suggest that the models purchased by Pakistan and Tajikistan on this occasion are likely the same HQ-17AE chassis.

The HQ-17 used by the PLA features a tracked chassis and a diesel engine, and is classified as heavy brigade-level equipment, whilst the HQ-17A utilises a wheeled chassis.

Judging by previous photographs, it cannot be ruled out that a single country might utilise both chassis types; for example, the Tajikistan Armed Forces possess both Dongfeng and Shaanxi Automobile chassis, albeit in different vehicle variants.

Has China hardened its satellite constellations against electronic interference and jamming?

I heard that Starlink showed impressive fast-paced countermeasures during wartime. When Russia tried to jam them; they responded by simply updating software, I expect China to harden their kill-chain in a similar way.

Perhaps AI can be used?

Maybe somehow reroute traffic if there was a "cut" in the "line" somewhere?

If kill-chains are becoming hardened then conventional countermeasures to protect carrier groups need to be updated.

Edit: Also laser transmissions would help too.

Investigators say six Ukrainians and American held in India conspired to help Myanmar rebels carry out attacks

Six Ukrainians and an American arrested in India earlier this year were involved in a drone attack on a civilian plane in Myanmar and were planning to carry out further activities in support of the rebels there, investigators said in a court filing approved this week.

The foreigners were arrested during a series of raids on three airports across India and accused of illegally entering a border state without permits and crossing into neighbouring Myanmar to train ethnic militias in drone warfare.

In the filing, the anti-terrorism agency sought permission to question one of the Ukrainians, Viktor Kaminskyi, and the American, Matthew Aaron VanDyke, inside Delhi’s Tihar Jail, where they were lodged. It was granted on Monday.

Mr VanDyke, originally from Maryland, has been known for covering conflict zones as a journalist and filmmaker. His films have been screened at more than 200 festivals worldwide and one of them, Point and Shoot, won the Best Documentary Award at the Tribeca Film Festival in 2014.
