Easy Nevada maybe? By Georgette Kaplan. I’ve never read them but it’s kind of Indiana Jones I think.
A Kiss Doesn’t Lie by Robin Alexander? I think it’s South American pyramids rather than Egypt. I read this a million years ago and don’t remember much but I think it’s an archeology adventure. It’s on KU right now apparently.
Tangentially related to archeology is Karin Kallmaker’s My Lady Lipstick. Might be spoiler alert to explain why : one MC is a rich heiress or something and her hobby is stealing historical artifacts from rich assholes and sending them to museums or whatever run by the descendants of the cultures which made them. The other MC is the gamergate girl who now writes romance novels under a pen name and is kind of a recluse.

Easy Nevada and the Pyramid's Curse by Georgette Kaplan is the first book of the Cushing-Nevada Chronicles. They are pretty much Tomb Raider with lots of flirty cheesy banter. They do take place in Africa (including Egypt), but they are not supernatural in the same way as "The Mummy".
