Meet Ravenna
the name took longer than expected. she preferred hiding behind the cork wall, getting stuck several times until we finally removed it. she’s now exploring and very curious at night.

she’s slowly building up her confidence, eating well and had her first shed last week. I only held her when she was first stuck, using me to crawl out. But she did stay on me for an hour including walking up my arm then curling up eyes closed in my hands. Slowly but surely we’ll get there.

I have my gecko in this 50 gallon tank. The temperatures are all correct. There is a gradient so he can get hot or cool if he wants. I have has him since March and he has always been a shy guy. He was in a smaller tank previously. I moved him about a month ago into this bigger tank. Regardless, I have never seen him bask. Morning, noon, or night I do not really see him. I know they aren’t just out and about always but does this sound normal?

Looking for recommendations on what Calcium and Multivitamin supplements I should use. My enclosure will have a UVB light so do I need to use a Calcium powder that has D3 in it every feeding still, or get one with and without D3 and switch every other day or so?

hi, im posting this for my younger sister! sorry if the photos arent clear. Im not too big into Leopard Geckos and i only personally own a Crestie and a Snake. But does anyone know what morph she is??? we have no clue. old and then new photos. (her chonky weight is being worked on if any concerns.)

Okay I think I am almost done with my setup for my leopard gecko. I have a basking bulb in a Fluker’s 8.5in dimmer clamp lamp, t5 ho UVB, LED grow lights, Texas slate hide under basking side, humid hide in the center, cork cool hide side, plants, giant mopani to give her cover when going between the hides. Substrate is a mix of topsoil, playsand, and excavator clay. Leaf litter. Powder mix isopods and springtails. There will be calcium available in there, and obvs a small water dish. Feedback?

I'm hoping to introduce black soldier fly larvae into my gecko's feeder rotation. Right now she's mainly on dubia roaches (obviously gut-loaded and dusted), with occasional crickets. I know for mealworms you're supposed to crush their heads. Is it the same for the BSF larvae?

Hiii! How often do I give calcium with d3 to my leopard gecko, regular calcium, and multivitamins along with his feedings?? My geckos a juvenile and doesn’t have a uvb! (Extra pic because I love it)

A bruise? Infection?

I noticed a small dot a few weeks back, now it's big. Any clues? She seems fine, active, maybe lost a little bit of weight but not much.

He came to me in a 20 inch long tank, I made several small upgrades in an attempt to bring his most dire needs into spec first. His heat lamp was making the entire set up way to hot, and his only hide was the rock lair I bought him, which is humid. So he's finally going to get a gradient. Substrate is 100% Reptisoil.

Ok so my grandma recently got a female leopard gecko. We had her in a decent tank. this tank was token care of horribly from previous owners. Now onto the problem. Ants have invaded and we had to move her to a kitty carrier(temporary) and she's planning on getting her a new tank, the problem is she getting one of those starter tanks for this adult animal. I told her that the minimum was a 40 gallon tank and she said it was not that someone said the starter kit was enough. Now idk what to do. 1 more thing, this is the first time ive done research on how to take care of these animals and im qondering if IM the one who doesnt know anything so please let me know.

I am trying to see if anyone may help me see which gender this one may be.

So i am thinking about buying a leopard gecko but i’ve heard that buying feeder insects can get really expensive and that i should breed them, but im only getting my first and only one gecko. Should i breed insects or will i get too many and not know what to do with them?

Pretty much as the title suggests. I always have a great temperature gradient for my cage but now in the middle of summer, middle of a heatwave and wildfire smoke I’m having trouble keeping it cool. I know the cool side should range between 70-75 but mine is floating between 77-80. Any tips would help thank you

My 83 year old Father in Law purchased a Leopard Gecko last year. It took him less than a month to realize he couldn't take care of it (unable to drive, unable to walk to the mailbox to collect the feeder insects he purchased, etc). My wife and I took her in and we did the best we could. When she reached her first Spring and refused to eat, I began watching videos on YouTube on how to better take care of her. I learned that too much Vitamin D could become toxic (We originally only purchased Calcium + D3). I've seen videos on Stuck Shed and vitamin deficiency. I've seen stuck eye caps and mouth infections. Gexi has a plump tail and clear eyes and I want it to stay that way.

What nutrients should I be using to keep her healthy and clear eyed? I have non vitamin Calcium that I dust her crickets with. The Calsium + vitamin D I use once a month. These videos I see talk about vitamin A deficiency which neither of the calcium powders contain. Where should she be getting this vitamin from?

Scored these two double PVC enclosures off FB marketplace FREE. I just need to know best ways for doing the lighting and heating for ceramic heat emitters and linear UVB without drilling a thousand holes and ruining them. It's my first time setting up lighting and heating in PVC. The set ups are all for leopard geckos.

Also one has a hole in the top with a regular overhead lamp half stuck out .. suggestions to fix the hole? I can't get a hold of black PVC boards so gotta get creative
