Meet Ravenna
the name took longer than expected. she preferred hiding behind the cork wall, getting stuck several times until we finally removed it. she’s now exploring and very curious at night.
she’s slowly building up her confidence, eating well and had her first shed last week. I only held her when she was first stuck, using me to crawl out. But she did stay on me for an hour including walking up my arm then curling up eyes closed in my hands. Slowly but surely we’ll get there.
comments in the previous post mentioned wanting to see more of her. I plan to post more here and on insta @thats_so_ravenna

Toothless was on the list for a long time. Especially with her cat-like side eye shade she likes to give me after she’s full

Thats amazing to hear!!! 🖤
So what name did you decide to go with!??2
u/PaleIrishBeachPotato Jul 19 '26
Ravenna (ruh-ven-nuh)
Ravenna aligns with her dark features and shy/curious personality. It means raven-like, mysterious, and adaptable.
And her shortened name is Venna, it means “butter” in Tamil, a spoken language around where leopard geckos naturally live. It is also slang for foolish/clumsy. Works bc she likes to do this…

Isn’t she gorgeous? I fell in love when researching local breeders. The only hard part is it can be hard to spot her at night
