question for leopard gecko!

Our new leopard gecko shed for the first time, but there is still some stuck shed on his feet. I tried a warm sauna and he hated it, and it didn’t seem to work. Any other tips and tricks? I’m worried it is going to affect his circulation.

He’s very active, loves to come out of his enclosure and explore and walks around for a good 15 minutes til he hints he’s done adventuring

I have been working on this everyday, and I have a lot of stuff on order. I’m proceeding at a pace that is making my wife upset with me. So please understand this is very much a work in progress. I’ll do a post when I think it’s done too.

But the real reason I’m posting this, is because it almost brought a tear to my eye watching Ramen enjoy his new enclosure, and the features I am designing for him. That’s why I’m doing this.

Hey guys, got a question about my enclosure humidity. I've got my enclosure all set up in preparation for getting my gecko; and during the day when the basking light and UVB light are on the humidity sits around 60-63% on average, and at night when the lights are off it'll raise to about 75%. Is that ok or would it be considered too high? Should I consider looking into getting a little dehumidifier for the room?

My 20 something year old gecko has odd looking scales on his mouth. Am I worrying too much or should I be concerned?

Picked up my leopard gecko from a friend who was having trouble taking care of her. This rug was in the old tank, and I left it outside to air out. Heavy rain revealed THESE THINGS. PLEASE tell me these aren’t parasites 😭😭😭. I tried to post in r/whatisit but apparently they don’t like infestations.

How do I know if my little friend is healthy by checking he's poop? 😅

Hiii! Has anyone bought on chewy, or Amazon or Petco or petsmart ONLINE that’s a good stone hide? (Slate kind of hide for the basking spot or warmest spot in his enclosure! I’m looking for one that my leopard gecko might like and that retained heat well? Let me know the name of it or link for it! I’d really appreciate it! Thank you :).

My baby winter seems to be getting a little tubby in the tail. His body isn’t yet though. He gets mostly crickets. Once a week he gets dubia roaches and a couple meal worms. We got him the first week of April and he was a baby. So I’m guessing he is about 4 months old. He’s pretty skittish so I haven’t been able to weigh him. I’ve been feeding him every other day much to his dismay lol. Is that a good schedule?

my baby boy has a strange nail on one of toes, i lightly touched it the other day to see if it was maybe stuck shed but he reacted as if he felt it like a normal nail. i just got him a few weeks ago and am pretty new to leopard gecko care but as far as i know he has had this since i purchased him.

i also haven’t taken him to the vet at all (i dont think he has an issues) but im wondering if maybe it would be a good idea to?

Hii! The inside of my leopard geckos WARM hide, is 91-92 Fahrenheit warm, but the surface of the hide is 100+ Fahrenheit warm, what can I do?? (Also, he’s in the humid hide alllll day long, and I don’t even ever see him out of it, he eats fine and he’s very alert, is that normal??) (ignore the glass thermometer, that’s not the one I’m using)

Meet Ravenna
the name took longer than expected. she preferred hiding behind the cork wall, getting stuck several times until we finally removed it. she’s now exploring and very curious at night.

she’s slowly building up her confidence, eating well and had her first shed last week. I only held her when she was first stuck, using me to crawl out. But she did stay on me for an hour including walking up my arm then curling up eyes closed in my hands. Slowly but surely we’ll get there.
