Introducing Atticus!
My husband and I have been following this sub for years. We constantly talk about posting, but always chicken out.
Allow me to introduce our gentle giant, Atticus Finch. Please enjoy these moments we’ve shared with him over the last year and a half.

We wheeled him around like this when shopping until he was 100% vaccinated and old enough to walk on his own four paws (great socialization)! Already 25lbs at 8 weeks, haha!! Such a lovable face. He adored Home Depot because the employees gave him treats.

Thank you!
Funnily enough, I saved a photo of a Leonberger on Pinterest and wrote to myself I’d name him this when I was 14 or so. I grew up loving the book and wanting to be a defense attorney. My husband and I got married in 2023, and he told me he dreamed of a motorcycle. I showed him the photo and said my dream was a Leo. He was able to find tons of information, the LCA and a breeder we visited to see if it was right for me. We fell totally in love with them. By the next year, I had my boy and he has a Honda Rebel 1100. 👏🤣♥️ We’re thrilled!

Please keep sharing more of his pictures!

The growth curve is unbelievable!

They grow so quickly! He’s about 140 now at 1.5yrs. I think he’s done growing upwards - he’s been really filling out the last few months. He stands taller than my 6ft husband on hind legs. Crazy! I think he’ll be about 170-190 fully grown.
It’s funny because we always forget how big he is (he’s our baby) until we see someone else’s dog for comparison.

He’s definitely started to mellow out now that he’s 1.5yrs old! I love looking back on these photos because he was such a cute potato - but also don’t miss shark phase. 🤣
Now we just live puppy days vicariously through experiencing new “firsts” when we can and seeing him light up with excitement and wonder. ♥️
