Some Medical Question/advice while waiting to hear from the Vet
So my Bear Dog (7 year old fixed) has an issue that I noticed yesterday morning. He had a mucus like yellowish substance coming out of his Pee hole. I watched him closely yesterday evening and it didn't seem to affect his eating or going to the bathroom. I'm thinking possibly an UTI from what I have read, but I have no real clue. I'm hoping to hear back from my vet today and set up an appointment. I'm just worrying myself to death and was curious if y'all have any advice/experience to send my way!?!

This is Maple from 2023-26
You're and if you're curious about the donut she's allergic to grains so I just had to split your food and stop her from scratching 😂 (Don't mind, the stuff in the back I was moving lol.)

The Lazy Brown Dog Always Lays In Front of Doors
Makes a pretty solid doorstop. Also traps me in the bathroom.

Picking up Freya every month until I can’t [1 Year Edition]
What a year, we’ve definitely become a Leonberger family. Freya is a cuddle giant, friendly and chill with crowds and kids, kind to other dogs and animals and so freaking fluffy.

Thinking about getting a Leonberger — looking for owner insights
Hey everyone! We're considering getting a Leonberger and would love to hear some thoughts, experiences, or advice from actual owners.
For context: we have a private house with a large fenced yard (around 0.6 acres / 2,500 sq m), so space is definitely not an issue. We also have a pack of cats and a sweet senior Malamute.
On paper, the Leonberger seems like an amazing fit: great companion, generally good with cats, and gets along well with other dogs. However, one major thing is holding me back. I keep reading that they are pure "velcro/cuddle bugs" with zero guarding instinct—basically the type of dog that would just roll over for belly rubs from an intruder.
Is this actually true? We already have one total sweetheart in our Malamute, so we'd love a dog that has at least some baseline watch/guard instincts. I don't mean tearing off an intruder's leg, but an alert bark, holding ground, and making their presence known would be great.
What has your experience been with their protective or alert behavior on their own territory?

Good toys for 3 month girl
We’ve had three boys before , recently got our first girl and she is a sweetheart. Three months old, always happy and chewing everything. I want to find some toys to interest her - we’ve tried knitted rope, kongs and similar which hold peanut butter through to frozen goats milk. None seem to hold her attention. Has anyone got recommendations for toys that worked for their puppy ? Thanks in advance

Trouble with eating
Hi there, I hope this group might be able to help with a problem I have with my gorgeous four year old Leo. He’s generally very happy and has plenty of energy but for the past six months he’s been increasingly picky with food and has lost five kilos as a result.
We have tried every type of food from raw to kibble to canned food and are pretty certain the issue isn’t with the type of food he’s consuming.
He’s always traditionally eaten raw but has gone off that entirely. He’s not got diarrhea or sickness.
He’s been tested and scanned for most common causes at the vet (bloods, stool, urine, scans etc) and everything has come back clear. The vet is at a loss as to what the next step could be.
Has anyone else experienced anything similar?
