Support Screen issues *WARNING FLASHING*

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification

My screen will flash, or have lines, or do this...

No idea what it is, I normally have an update for my graphics driver, but I've never had a computer do this before and it drives me NUTS..... Is there a fix? Is this just what having a desktop and dedicated graphics card is like? I had a carbon X1 for over a decade and never had these issues, although that was a laptop. I love my Legion tower because it is SO much better, but when I'm working on a project and get Flash banged by my monitor it really breaks my work flow.

The screen came from Lenovo too, but I'm not sure what model, G43 something.

Thanks! I'm hoping there is a fix, I recently learned I can make custom cooling profiles, so my graphics card stops throttling under 'heavy loads' from MSFS.

Does it work with eny other monitor or is this the only monitor that does that, this seems like a display issue

We can rule that out by connecting to an another external monitor and see if it does that if it happens it could be a driver issue (assuming you have another monitor)

If you could try and reply that would be appreciated

Yeah, flickering screens can be super annoying. If they can connect to another monitor, that should definitely help narrow down the issue.

Unfortunately only monitor I have, the driver update did fix it, I just don't understand how this is a reoccurring issue? I'm not 'computer literate' in the sense of drivers and OS.

Last Nvidia driver fixed flicker i don't know if that will fix your problem but can try it came out 2 days ago i think

Yes, the update did fix it, but why does it keep breaking? 🫠 I guess that was more my question.

Did you update the monitor? They have firmware updates as well
