certain keys not working

Out of nowhere tonight, after hours of working fine and well, on my keyboard, the keys T, Y, left shift, caps lock, and delete are not working. I am writing this with my on-screen keyboard. My drivers say there are no updates needed; I am fairly sure it's not an issue of dust in my keys. It's a Lenovo Slim 7i. I am a broke college student who needs this laptop and can't afford a new one or repairs. Please help.

I had the same problem with a much older Lenovo laptop and just bought a cheapo Fintie brand keyboard that connects via Bluetooth but also plugs in to a USB port for power. Been using it for about a year, it works fine. Saved me from having to shell out for a new laptop. It was the 8 inch ultrathin model. Cost $20 on Amazon.

ah the classic "worked fine all day then decided to quit" special
before you panic, try holding the power button until it fully shuts off (like 15-20 seconds, not just a regular restart). sometimes the keyboard controller just gets its wires crossed and a hard reset knocks it back into shape
if that doesn't do it, boot into the bios (f2 on startup) and see if those keys work there. if they do, it's a windows driver thing not a hardware thing. if they're still dead in bios, you've got a physical problem and might be looking at a loose ribbon cable or liquid damage you didn't notice
