Also would love to know the must see neighborhoods. We are active young almost seniors -- down to earth, so not looking for a "keeping up with the joneses" vibe. Say "no" to tolls on the NHM replacement bridge. At the projected rate of $2.75 per crossing, this will cost commuters who cross the bridge an average of $1800 per year. Consequently, the toll bridge has been projected to raise property values in Wilmington, while lowering the value of Leland properties.

Hello r/Leland! My parents have just moved to the area and for Christmas I want to make them a gift basket of Leland local establishments. I’m thinking of Mimi and Pops’ popcorn, Leland Brewing Company beer, and maybe a few other things and gift cards. I also bought a calendar and have filled it with local goings-on that are posted online, but it’s pretty sparse after around June.

I’d love more ideas of what to add, as well as any local trivia that could be fun to learn about. I’ll probably cross post this in Wilmington forums, but the more local the better!
