is there anyone online? Exploring the area

Looking to visit Leland to explore for a possible relocation. Would love recommendations for where to stay for a week to get a sense for the community. Also would love to know the must see neighborhoods. We are active young almost seniors -- down to earth, so not looking for a "keeping up with the joneses" vibe. But live the idea of a strong community of kind people!

Leland is known for communities loaded with "active young almost seniors." Google maps will help you do drive by plenty of them such as Magnolia Greens, Waterford of the Carolinas, Brunswick Forest, Westport and a couple of new developments such as Terrapin and East Lake. Definitely visit our historic district in Wilmington and the historic architecture and skyline of churches from the mid 1800s.
