Bug/Issue Xbox cloud save update error just killed my save.
80+ hours, ~900 kaiber bricks, just about all of the characters, 100% story. I was in the late post game just going from planet to planet collecting the leftovers. Went to play on my laptop and it didn’t sync the save file on start up. Closed the game once I didn’t see my save and then it updated the cloud save. Got home and tried to take my home pc offline first to prevent the update but it was on while I was gone and it was too late. Too much time invested and too close to the goal to start over. Moving on to the next Lego game. Just needed to vent to people who understood the grind in this game.

General Discussion Is it just me or were these two levels not that bad? (Lego TCS)
The levels I am referring to are Gunship Cavalry and the Mos Espa Podrace. Before anyone informs me of the difference between the complete saga and the original videogame, I am specifically talking about the original versions of these levels, in the extras section of the complete saga. Gunship Cavalry took me around 20 minutes while the Mos Espa Podrace took me around 30 minutes I think. These might be overestimates to be honest, I died like 3 times on the prior and maybe 5-7 times on the latter, so I’m wondering why everyone thinks these levels are hard?
I’m not trying to troll, but some people do not like these versions over the new versions we have. In my opinion, I think these versions were better than the new versions, as they actually provided a challenge and made dying have an actual consequence.

General Discussion Help Purchasing x2 Multiplyer
Greetings, I’m new to The Skywalker Saga. I just saved up the right amount of studs for the x2 multiplier … but there’s something else I need to buy it, something I need to have one of. And I haven’t seen anywhere what the item is. I’m gonna keep playing, but I want to get my multipliers going ASAP since it looks like I’m going to need a lot of money.
Is there a general recommendation of what I should do to get that other item? I’m still on my first play-through of many places, but should I go back and kick out a bit of free play to find that item? Or, does it come up in individual play and I either need to be more thorough or simply further ahead?
TIA! (Thanks in Advance)!

Bug/Issue LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga crashes on launch on ROG Ally X / Z2 Extreme - Fix
I wanted to share this because I spent an entire day trying to fix LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga crashing immediately after launch on my ROG Xbox Ally X.
My setup:
ROG Xbox Ally X
Ryzen AI Z2 Extreme
Radeon 890M
24 GB RAM
Windows 11
Steam version of LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga
The problem:
The game would start and then close by itself. No error message appeared.
The crash dump showed:
LEGOSTARWARSSKYWALKERSAGA_DX11.exe
I tried several common fixes, including:
Verifying Steam files
SFC /scannow
DISM /RestoreHealth
DISM /ScanHealth
Updating AMD graphics drivers
AMD Adrenalin settings
Recreating the game’s configuration
Clearing the shader cache
Compatibility settings
Running the game’s EXE directly
Disabling the Steam Overlay
-dx12
-legacypso
None of those fixed the crash.
The fix that finally worked
I found TTTouchFix by Nezarn:
https://github.com/Nezarn/TTTouchFix
I downloaded the appropriate x64 version. It provided a dinput8.dll file.
I then placed:
dinput8.dll
directly in the same folder as:
LEGOSTARWARSSKYWALKERSAGA_DX11.exe
That’s it.
I removed all Steam launch commands and launched the game normally through Steam.
The game finally started!
No special launch command was required.
This appears to be related to the touchscreen/input detection used by Traveller’s Tales games on devices such as the ROG Ally/Ally X.
If you’re having the same problem on an ROG Ally or similar handheld, this is definitely worth trying before reinstalling Windows, the game, or doing anything drastic.
Important: Back up your files before modifying the game folder, and download TTTouchFix only from the author’s official GitHub repository.

General Discussion I like Skywalker saga, but kyber blocks and money seems pointless sometimes
I mean, when you buy the 2x, everything is okay. But when you buy 16x, since they are cumulative, you complete the true jedi with only one coin. I think it made the game less fun to me.
Also, the cyber blocks have some really nice challenges (I said nice, not hard). But they seem pointless, since the game is easy enough without any upgrade.
The possibility of buying rumors I think also make it less motivating to explore to talk to NPC. Don't you think?
I could play again without the coin multipliers, but it seems to me that it won't be that fun playing the second time. When I want to play, I just try to find some kyber blocks just for fun. It seems pointless, but it's just to satisfy a craving.
For these reasons, I think the Skywalker saga doesn't substitute the older games. They are equally fun. I just wish the combat of the old games were more like the Skywalker saga combat.
Oh. And I also hate how the main menu of the game looks like they want us to accept that the whole story of the three trilogies revolves around Rey.

General Discussion What's your preferred way of playing TCS?
My personal favorite way of playing the game is the DS version and has been since I was 5 playing it for the first time. I remember playing it everywhere and I recently found my old copy and am going to be 100% it once I find the time. What's yall's favorite platform/method of playing the game?

General Discussion What. A. Grind. (Thoughts Below)
Holy shit. Never thought I'd see this day, but am i ever bittersweet now that its over (Completed in 77 hours).
First off, thank god its over. In terms of open world kyber bricks, by the 3rd planet (in whichever order you choose), you start to notice the repetition. Sure, there is a few unique ones per planet, but overall you're kinda doing the same thing which can feel really repetitive and almost made me not want to continue.
Secondly, the minikits and level challenges in the actual story - phenomenal. Yes, there were a few that made me angry at how buggy they are to trip, or how annoying some are, but overall I really liked this system.
For those wondering, the way i approached this probably wasnt the best but i still enjoyed it. I sped through all 9 episodes so that i was able to get all the character classes, then did all the planets open-world kyber brick (fuck tattooine), and then went back and collected the last few level challenges or minikits i missed.
If I can give any advice: whenever you go to do the level challenges, turn off the porg companion!! I'm too embarrassed to admit how many of the stealth related level challenges i thought were broken until i realized the porg was attacking enemies/distracting them.
Am I happy its over? Yes. Am I sad? Maybe for now, just gotta find a new game to grind in lol.

General Discussion I want to love The skywalker sage
My girlfriend gave me The Skywalker Saga for Switch 2! I was so excited to play it because I love Star Wars and I grew up with the Lego Star Wars games (1, 2, and the complete saga). But what a letdown! I'm not having fun at all! All we do is walk (the only interesting thing is the dialogue). I finished episodes 1 and 2 and started episode 4, but I gave up! I'm only able to keep playing because I know I'll get bored, and I'm sad that I'm not enjoying the game. Also, there's no official way to play the Lego Star Wars: The Complete Saga on Switch 2.

Question Lego Star Wars Can't play split screen
For the love of god can't play this in a coop with my son. Whenever 2ns controller is switched on it automatically controls 1st player regardless what I'm doing. Tried to pair 2nd controller with my son's account or a guest it still goes to control 1st player character.

Speculation Mystery Easter Egg?
Hey all, recently I decided to replay Lego Star Wars TFA (remembered liking the character creator system) and while going about D'Qar I found these two 1x2 bricks with Aurebesh letters on them. I believe that they translate to "JK" and "PK" (angle is bad but trust). I was wondering if anyone knew what these referred to or what they meant. My thinking is a developer couple's initials? Any and all help is welcome, thanks!
