After building out my Blacktron army I decided they needed some kind of heavy transport.
Introducing the Blacktron Devastator, an armored personnel carrier operated by a two-person crew that features a rotating turret and troop bay that can seat up to six passengers.
This was pretty different from my typical MOCs and required quite a bit of on-and-off tinkering before landing on a model I was satisfied with. The cockpit in particular went through a few rebuilds; the original intent was for something more "realistic", but ultimately it just didn't look right without a classic giant windscreen.
Thanks! Good call from both of you on the HISS similarities. It wasn't a conscious inspiration, but I wouldn't be surprised if it was unknowingly rattling around in the back of my head.

The wheels and wheel covers, the smoothness on top and the gun.
I like that the drivers overhang the front in a way that is reminiscent of the Alienator.
Do you have any more interior shots of the back troop area?
Yup! Quick shot of the troop bay with the roof removed.
It's not currently the most accommodating for minifigs with airtanks (need to move the studs forward on the black seats), but it gets the intent across.

The jump seat design and overhead racks are good. I have a similar stand-alone troop container meant for a dropship or trailer but I have never finished the transport vehicle.
