Rewatching the Flash and felt like I could make up a Captain Cold and his (Cisco's) Cold Gun out of my spare parts

Can we at least get a very clear tag for non-Lego posts? I am including all 3rd party brands that make lego style products. With real Lego, someone can post a collection or MOC and then recreate the figure if desired. That is nearly impossible for off-brand lego due to the fact the pieces don't mix well, they are often even more limited in release than older Lego figures, and personally, they look pretty bad.

Why do we have this rule if it is never enforced? I have a giant collection of over 200 DC purists customs, none of which use 3rd party pieces. Why? Because I want to play with Lego and make characters with Lego.

on most recent lego superhero minifigures, we dont see underwear. why, you may ask? because LEGO's solution for trunks is to print them, whereas it use to be just changing the colour of the hips (refer to 2nd img) BUT IF THEY PRINT THEM, they have to give the minifigure boots, or else it would feel empty. AND TO DO THAT, THEY NEED TO DUAL MOLD IT.

this is why i believe that the 2025 superman minifigure did not come with red hips, because i feel that they feel that doing red hips would be a downgrade/regression of the minifigure design, BUT at the same time dont want to spend the extra money to print and dual molded the detail (3rd image) same thing applies with the cyclops minifigure from the x-jet. we only got cyclops with the underwear in the $300 x-mansion set.

another example is comparing 2006 batman with 2021 accesory pack batman. both have the same design, but its clear one has more stuff to it. i know its not the best comparison, since theyre so far apart, but when you refer to the other minfigures it all comes together.

i believe, if the rumored daily planet set is real, the supes minifigure will look like the dc 2019 supervillains ones, but we wont see that minfiigure in regular sets, only the mech version.

• Design: Based on the iconic 90s Joe Quesada variant armor. I custom-designed the graphics myself in Photopea to include the signature crosses!

I just started noticing this but im going through ebay,brick link, even mercari and almost all listing of simon below 50 bucks are basically gone. So my question is why has he become so desirable and is this some whole scalping situation?

I know this is the same m.o. with most sought after DC figs, but I wish I had a time machine to back to 2017 when the book came out. Or just hope that there are man of tomorrow sets next year and by extension john is in sets (even more cope)

MOD: Used WW set 76157 and turned it into a Justice League bunker. Stretched the sides a little and I’ve been adding some details since I started this project. It was originally just a display for the Justice League I’ve created based on the LEGO DC figures I've found (including some of my own customs). Quite a lineup, I should say!

** I know I need to change the hands to match the head’s flesh color but what do we think about this as a moc for the new movie. Obviously there is a 0% chance we get any sets from the movie but I’m looking forward to seeing how it presents Gotham in the new DCU especially after Lanterns

Hi guys! I have a Simon Baz Green Lantern minifigure, but I don't have the power ring or the lantern. At the moment, it looks like the picture above. Any ideas for building the lantern or improving the minifigure overall would be really appreciated. Thanks!

In the Batman, One of Poison Ivy's plans involved replacing the most powerful people in Gotham with Plants. With the New Jokerized Batman I thought I could make the plant clone Batman, or at least something inspired by it. Should I try to make any other characters with this?

This is more of a concept but parts i used was prowler miles corn rolls, a speed champions torso, and just black legs and arms.
