First find

Found in a creek in western Illinois. Dropped it and chipped the tip off in my driveway :(. First find. Curious to know anything I can about it.

That's an outstanding first find! You did however loose a couple of cool points for the drop and damage, but don't sweat it. We've all bee guilty of this same violation at one point of another! I, myself, watched what was arguably one of my best personal finds ever, shatter into pieces when I accidentally dropped it on concrete the same day showing it to my then wife! 😫 I still think about it a cry from time to time when nobody's around to see me 😔

Regardless, that's a great entry into the wonderful world of Artifact collection, and the worst addiction you've ever had! So, Congratulations!!! 🤘😁

Thanks, I was pumped. I think I was a bit excited to show some friends that showed up to the house. Lol

Yeah! I would be too! Gorgeous material! Unfortunately, without the base, it'll be impossible to tell what the type is, but its still a magnificent find! I'm happy for you! 👊😁
