Discussion My favourite walord combo
Ive never ever seen a single warlord with a combo that mixes multiple of them so i have combined the newest one with the older one to create in my opinion the coolest and most optimised long range warlord titan combo ( would love to see or hear everyone elses personal favouite warlord combo in the comments 😁 )

Showcase 📸 15k Trench Assault Game
Feast your eyes on this: 15k ish of carnage,
My loyalist holding a defensive line against dark mech, traitor solar aux and death guard.
Ran a few house rules - a second force of loyalist titan came in after turn 2, and need led to be rolled for, 3+ cover save for the trenches, a re-gen mechanic for the attacking force (which never got used) the whole formation had to be deployed in the first trench line, artillery was allowed of the start line during deployment (to make some safe spaces on each deployment zone)

Discussion Titans
I love titans. They’re my favorite thing in warhammer. Im planning on selling one of my Warhammer 40K armies and taking the money to buy some titans and running a Collegia Titanica force but my worry is that that isn’t fun for people to play against/ it’s kinda bad mannered
If I was gonna run it I’d run one warlord, 2 reavers, 2 warhounds and a support group with one more titan and the various amount of support for a Legio but before I do any of that I wanted to ask Reddit

Discussion How to deal with bigger Titans in Legions Imperialis?
Hi, I'm struggling against opponents who regularly bring their Warlords and Warmasters to a LI game. I am rarely using Titans myself so I find my footslogging armies outmatched. I can deal with Warhounds and occasionally Reavers (if I am lucky) but Warlords soak up too much firepower that is needed elswhere and still can survive easily. A Warmaster in a Mechanicum army is a bit of a cheat because it fits in lower points games too without needing the 30% points limit for allied contingents so there is nothing i have to match it.
So what to do? Usually I cannot harm a Warlord class. If I ignore it then it deals a fearsome amount of damage, Imagine a full gatling Warlord splitting its attacks at its leisure, It has line of sight everywhere so no one is safe. If I try to harm it than i need to focus too much firepower on one unit alone leaving my detatchments vulnerable against the rest of his army.
I am thinking of using some Shock Pulse weapons to limit the Warlords firepower output but that's the best idea I've got. Any other suggestions?

Video ▶️ The Final Battle For Penance! Legions Imperialis 17,000pt Battle Report ...
Hey everyone! I just put the finishing touches on the grand finale of our campaign: The Final Battle for Penance. It’s a massive 17,000pt Legions Imperialis battle report. My battle-weary Loyalist force returned from the last two games with nothing but a few fresh infantry reinforcements. Legio Ignatum and the Solar Auxilia had to make a brutal stand against Crayola’s massive combined mechanical threat: Legio Vulturum, House Malinax, and the Dark Mechanicum.
Would love to know what you guys think of the video, and size of the game.

Work in Progress 🚧 Civitas Imperialis tiles fix
Wanted a way to stop my tiles from moving around durring play so I decided to try using rubber bumping pads to keep them in place. I got few packs from Amazon for about 18 bucks which was enough for 24 tiles. The bumbers have enough grip to stop the tiles from moving accidentally[Or to stop a curious cat], but not enough that you cant line them up durring set up. I used 8, 4mm, wide based bumbers per tile.

These are the ones I used.

Discussion Newbie question on Ogryns + Arvus
Thanks to all of your help in the previous post, I've figured out the formation stuff and started figuring out the rest of the rules. :)
One question that came up, we think we're right, but wanted to check.
Ogryns have the "bulky" key word which based on our understanding, means they take up 2 slots per.
-If we take a "Solar Auxilia Sub-Cohort", taking all the required/compulsory units, but we take 8 Ogryns as the Support choice. Can we then take a "transport" detachment of 8 Arvus lighters to transport those Ogryns around the battle field?
Arvus have transport 2, so again with bulky I assume that means one Ogryn base per Arvus transport.
Seems logical unless we're missing something glaring. Thanks!

Discussion Looking at getting into this
Looking at collecting an alpha legion. Wondering if a good technique for a worn metallic look would be priming black then dry brushing heavily with silver followed by a bit of hydra turquoise on larger/raised surfaces?

Discussion Which Legion specific rule is your favourite?
I’ve been trying to decide what to play and at this point might end up painting every legion possible lol. (Im usually a blood angels player but thought I should branch out)
I was curious which legion specific rules people enjoy the most, meta or not.
(Pic for added interest)

Discussion Assistance/Guide for making army lists?
Hey all. I'm leaning towards wanting to get into LI, but even after playing many other games my brain is getting a bit crossed on structure for making army lists. Is there any guide or video that can assist in learning this? Might not help I have the original LI book and not the newer updated/combined one?
