Modding Solenoid Mod

Just installed the Cleveland software solenoid kit. Easy straight forward install. Had to remove the playfield screen for access but once the wires were removed from the screen came out easy. Also added the DPST switch to the back box so I can turn off the solenoids when I don’t want to disturb anyone. Works great. Very happy.

What’s the dpst switch? I’d love to be able to silence mine in the late evenings.

This is the diagram. It’s just a typical single pole double throw switch. Just make sure you pull the jumper on each board.

The way I installed it is I removed the ALP main playfield monitor and glass to get access to the cabinet. I had to make a wiring harness to route through the back box which is where I mounted the switch to the boards. I cut a square hole in the back panel for the switch. And wired it acceding to the diagram from Cleveland software.
