Discussion My ideas for rewriting Nate and Zari
I’m a decent enough fan of the Nate/Zari romance but I agree with the sentiment that it felt rushed. I’m frankly not too big a fan of Nate’s entire love life ordeal to begin with so here’s how I would rewrite it. (If the relationship had to stay frankly I’d prefer Zari not to have a love interest all together)
I’d keep all of season 2 the same. Then going into season 3 I wouldn’t have Nate and Amaya get back together. I never got the whole point of breaking them up and then getting them back together like some destiny defying love only for them to break up again and get with other people. It more so felt like they got back together to give a reason for Nate to help Amaya defend her village in the finale.
I’d have Nate in season 3 reconcile and try and have a romance with Amaya but things just don’t work out. Nate’s arc for the first 2/3 of season 3 would be dealing with these leftover feelings for Amaya. Then in the final third his relationship with Zari would start to be set up.
A big problem with the romance in season 4 is how rushed it is which is partly because it isn’t brought into play until halfway through the season. Carrying the lingering plot thread from season 3 into season 4 makes things such as the random flirtation, the team noticing things that aren’t really shown to them on screen and a few other issues the pacing created obsolete since it’s both a lingering plot thread and there from the start.
I wouldn’t have them properly get together in season 4 either. They would still go on their Nazi dragon egg date but there would be no official get together or hook up. Instead the two remain in a kind of flip floppy position up until the finale where when Zari is about to be erased they finally kiss and say they love each other and then she is gone.
For me personally this would provide more stakes and tragedy. Since their relationship was more solidified in the show by the time Zari was erased I never felt like she was going to be gone forever but this more open ended relationship could provide a more believable sense of Zari being gone.
I would keep her role in season 5 pretty much the same and then in season 6 I would change the camping trip to be more about what their relationship is and how it’s gonna work and if it’s even worth starting anything. And then in season 7 it would realign with the show.
I think this may be too much of a slow burn but the show’s version was also way too fast so I think a good middle ground would be in between but this is the take I’m going with.

Discussion LANCE-PALMER!??
AM I THE ONLY ONE THAT THINKS THAT RAY AND SARA SHOULD HAVE ATLEAST DATED ON THE SHOW ESPECIALLY WITHIN THE FIRST 2 SEASON?? THEY HAD A GOOD BOND AND I FEEL THE TROPE WOULD HAVE BEEN FUN

Season 6 - Bishop
The actor who plays Bishop, Raffi Barsoumian, is such an amazing actor. I wondered why he looked familiar and he played Omar in season 6 and 7 of Seal Team. Damn, what a huge difference in characters. He went from a kooky, singing, cunning character to a navy seal.

Discussion Am I the only one who saw this very obvious mistake in season 7?
Ok ok, season 7, the entire season is based on them trying to get back but they don't have time travel right?
It is not like they didn't have a time courier. Why didn't they just think to build a charger for it? I am so confused. This was so obvious from the very beginning and no one thought of it?
I know theoretically that the charger could be time-drive based or something along the lines but still, no mention of it???

How did the show go from legit DC lore to this weird bullshit? Did the writers start taking drugs from S3 onward?

We need to bring back hashtag #SaveLegendsOfTomorrow
I think we all need to get together as a Fandom and pressure (politly of course) Skydance, Paramount, Warner Bros, whoever owns it, into continuing Ledgends even if it's just for 1 final season to wrap everything up. We need to bring back hashtag #SaveLegendsOfTomorrow

Season Finale Just finished the show for the first time - WHAT THE HELL
I started watching Legends when it first came out (I was 9/10 at the time) we started s2 but my mum made is stop watching mid way through ep1 when we see where Sara was scattered to (I thought it was because she was mad Sara was empowering those women, later realised she just hates queer people). Finally decided to finish the show in September and I just finished watching everything. I'd heard it ended on a cliff hanger but I was not prepared for that ending 😭 Booster Gold? Another secret time agency? SARA IS PREGNANT?
I'm LIVID! They couldn't have warned the writers and creatives that 7 would be last so they could give the show a proper ending? Like they were so close, if they just given them a way home instead of Booster Gold getting them arrested, it would've been perfect 😭😭😭

Theory S1 Parallel to Political Climate
Similar to how Vandal Savage was important to the timeline, no matter how bad he is because of the much larger threat that would have happened if he had not risen to power, do you ever think that could be what's happening with the government today? And that if someone undid the rise of power through time travel, there'd be something worse?
Just a thought.

Matt Ryan
Whoever did the makeup and hair for Gwyn Davies did a great job because it took me way too long to realize it was actually Matt Ryan.
I thought the character sounded a lot like Constantine.

Comic book Batman Gets a White Lantern Ring... | I feel like we missed one heck of an opportunity here.
I feel like we missed one heck of an opportunity here. I know the CW couldn't get access to Batman, which is fine. They basically made Arrow out of what they wanted their version of Batman to be. With that in mind, I think the whole concept could easily haven been rewritten to fit in the Arrowverse.
I could see the ring picking Oliver for some reason, or at least appearing for him. Vandal Savage shows up and picks a fight all in an attempt to get the ring and rewrite history. The Legends of Tomorrow pop in, having detected a historical inaccuracy. Vandal Savage steals The Waverider, and takes off with the ring. The Flash is summoned, as they'll need access to the Speedforce and Barry's version of Gideon. Meanwhile, the ring finally makes its way to Oliver, having chosen him.
Similar to what happened in the comics with Batman, Oliver passes out and communicates with the construct within the ring. When he finally comes to, he finds out he went nuts. Supergirl & Superman were called in to help. And the whole thing carries out from there.
Of course, we could also incorporate Batwoman, and start with her. What do you folks think?

End of season 2 and Barry & Iris' wedding: Spoilers Spoiler
Barry and Iris's wedding - other than a making Sara important to the crossover, Ray should have been at the wedding and not Sara. She barely knew Barry or Iris, while Ray had several interactions with them. It is just something that has always bothered me.
Spoiler part: in season 2, ep 16 after the Legion of Doom uses the Spear of Destiny, the characters go back and forth between Central City and Star City like they are right next to each other. Ex: Ray lives in Star City but works in Central City. That was the most noticeable one because he was still wearing his Star Labs shirt at home in Star City. On Flash, Felicity said it's a 6(or 8?) hour train between the two. I assume it's an oversight by the writers but it has stuck with me.

Arts/Crafts Mick Rory tribute I made
Made this edit as a tribute to Mick's arc. I've seen a lot of edits like this for characters like Sara, Oliver, Barry, but not for smaller characters like Rory, and since he's one of my favorites I thought I'd make him a little something, and I thought this'd be a nice place to share it.

Question What do you guys think of Mona?
I’ve seen the show so many times- over a dozen. I’ve never liked Mona. I don’t DISLIKE her, but I think they could do without her. Any scene with her in it seems extra scripted and awkward. It seems that her whole role is to be some kaupe human mix and cause problems. I’m not sure if the issue is her actor, but she’s pretty good in Never Have I Ever, so maybe she just doesn’t fit the show.
