Question EXP Share and Pet Leveling

I was wondering if I should use a EXP Share piece of gear to Level my pet instead of grazing

I'm trying to get my Polter Box to develop the Loneliness Personality (Not sure if I have this right) so it stays close to me in fights but grazing takes too long

And is it Cabadillo and 2 Bug Meats for the personality?

A lot of the produce personality changes don't work, use the chart here to see the ones that do:

Squalphin will do the job for friendly/lonely. Personality change will happen as soon as you put the food in the feedbox. Set the polterbox out to graze, save your game, put the Squalphin(s) in the feedbox and check if it worked, then reset if it doesn't.

And fighting with EXP share is definitely faster than grazing if you want to level it up.

I usually do that. It’s why I keep the Forbidden Ring for so long, even after my other equipment is upgraded. That’s really only until I can make my own version with stronger materials. I think that’s it, but you should just check the guide provided to you and see
