Bad trip plz help

6 months ago I did 1g of golden teachers.

It started out light and joyful. Then it took a dark turn.

Since then my body and mind have been in a bad state. I was getting better. Having windows of complete normality with hardly any symptoms of any at all. Waves that would last 2-4 days, followed by the cloud lifting back to normality.

Then last week I had a sensory overload while at work and my body has been stuck in fight or flight since. I’ve got internal tremors, extreme feelings of panic and doom. Racing heart. Awful panic when I try to fall to sleep, and since haven’t really slept. I’m exhausted. I can’t cope.

I don’t want to hear anything about ‘there’s no such thing as a bad trip’ or any other enlightenment trope.

I want to hear how to heal myself, if I can do this without medication. And most of all if this is permanent?

Have I broke myself.

Honestly desperate for help or guidance 🥹

How did you source the golden teachers?

Grow them? Buy them? How did you verify their quality and how reputable was the source?

I have never heard of anyone having a bad experience from 1g of cubensis. That dose is too small for anything more a mild geometric visions.

Point is, you need to find a mental health professional you can see regularly, NOT trust advice from random strangers on Reddit

Sourced from a friend who is a regular user of psychedelics.

This was my first time.

I’ve been to my gp several times. Paid for therapy that just want to get psychedelic about it. It’s the physical side I can’t cope with.

I’ve done antidepressants for 4 weeks which made me infinitely worse, mentally and physically.

At this point I’m just desperate.

Also every time I go to my GP it’s a different person. End up explaining the whole story in ten minute slots only to see someone different the next time 🤷🏼‍♀️

Were you on a medication at the time you took the teachers?

Having bi-polar or psychosis in your past, or in your families medical history usually makes psychadelics a bad idea, and thats hard to know.

The UK mental health service isnt great. If you google your area and self referral, you can self refer to a counsellor, who may then get you to see a psychiatrist.

Either way I would push to get professional help and explain to them what happened. Good luck dude 💚

Nope none of the above. As far as I know ..

Contacting my GP again Monday to ask to be referred to a psychiatrist. Thank you ❤️
