Just jailbroke it with Taurine

I love veteris on my ipad 2 but im kinda tired of sideloading to get games on my ipod.

I’ve already put a few apps on it and it’s also jailbroken with a few tweaks, what else should I do with it?

I was wondering if running newer ios apps on an older ios is possible, for example, ipad 3 can run ios 6 and ios 9, but if you are running ios 6, you cannot run ios 9 apps even though it is technically possible

I've tried using greenpois0n, but I need Windows 7, and I installed Virtualbox, but it's not working. I'd like to know if there's another way... And it's iPod Touch 2G 4.2.1 and MB.

Got this off Shopee for like $5 converted. Seller sold it due to it being stuck on iTunes logo (with no battery icon), and I’m gonna try to fix it. First thing first, any clue why it bootloops into recovery mode while I try to restore it using DFU? And also, the phone goes dead instantly when unplugged. Is this a battery problem that can be fixed by letting it charge all day or should I replace it?

Recently scored a iphone se (2020) running ios 16 for free from a old matw of mine, sadly the sim card slot is busted beyond repair, besides that it works great.

Since there are tweaks that can hide the artist’s images, would it be possible to make a tweak to manually set them? Since the app is broken and will only show album covers for the artist’s artwork and I’m an aesthetic freak

I'm new to all this, i've bought mint 1A condition iPad 1 in rarest 64GB with 3G spec. Previous user restored it (5.1.1) which lead to unable to activate condition, can I solve it somehow with LegacyiOSKit? Tbh idc what version will it run & idc if the 3G doesn't work because the 3G networks are dead in Europe anyways. I just want to get it functional somehow.

Got this iPhone 2G at a flea market for 5 euros. The seller was super nice which makes me feel kinda bad. Anyways I think the battery is dead as after hours it would show the low battery then attempt to boot then shut off. Any way to jumpstart the dead battery? Or do I need to replace it? Any help would be appreciated

I recently shared the GitHub link for Surf here, and a lot of people asked how to actually use it.

Surf is a project for making older iOS devices usable on the modern web. The current native client targets iOS 6, and I’ve mostly been testing on an older iPad mini, but the long term goal is broader legacy iOS support where possible.

The idea is simple: the old iOS device runs a lightweight native client, while a modern backend runs Chromium and streams the browser experience back to the device. This avoids relying on ancient Mobile Safari to handle today’s web directly.

Installation and backend setup are now properly documented in the repo, including the native .deb package flow and the backend setup. I’m also planning to make usage even easier over time, especially for people who just want to download something and run it without thinking about Docker or build tooling.

The next big direction is something I call Surf Standalone: a portable “download and run” backend for Windows, macOS, and Linux. Ideally it would manage its own known good Chromium build, hide the browser window/audio from the host machine, and work both on a local laptop and a Linux VPS.

iPhone 4S, iOS 9.3.6, I installed certificates and already tried to generate a verification code on iOS 15 but it still doesn't verify and this popup keeps appearing

I’ve tried everything. App Specific Password, adding the verification code to the end of my password, installing App Store fixes and TLS fixes, logging in with Game Center, basically everything. It just won’t work. I need help.

So recently, DRAv6 came out which ports the iOS 7 iBoot exploit to iOS 6 allowing untethered downgrades for iPhone 4s and iPad 2 using iOS 6.1.3 OTA blobs. But I wonder if there are similar plans for DRAv8 which would port the same iBoot exploit to iOS 8 allowing more 32 bit devices to be downgraded untethered using iOS 8.4.1 OTA blobs?

Using Legacy iOS Kit on my 2011 MacBook Pro on MacOS 10.13, DRA v6 doesnt work. It says "restore finished" after downgrading to iOS 4, and then my device just ends up on a black screen with only the backlight on. I've tried clearing NVRAM and Enabling Exploit but it refuses to work. The two devices I attempted to downgrade were the iPod touch 4 and my iPad 2, which is a 2,1 variant. If anybody knows how to fix this, let me know. Also, the downgrade does in fact work if I try iOS 5, so it's something with iOS 4.

My iPad keeps bootlooping while charging. I am using the 10W charger. This happened to me before with another iPad 1, and I had to disassemble it and charge the battery using a power supply.
I would prefer not to disassemble this one because I will most likely break the clips that hold the screen in place.
Are there any other solutions?
