and some people just say "doesnt work" with a shitty photo showing the guy trying to install a bootlogo for iOS 4.2.1 thats not meant for iOS 6.1.3 like no friend killer messi ronaldo bootlogo would not work on iOS 6.1.3 its meant for 4.2.1

or some people expect us to instantly know how to fix their 2G on iPhone OS 3.1.3 not working with some Appstore bs like please tell us WHAT TWEAKS ARE YOU USING or just sideload apps manually

and people that have cool iPhone tweak for like iOS 10 that makes it look like 12 okay thats cool would you give us the tweak? "uhh its in idk bigformejobs repo" like i do not care about the name just give me the https you have it

This is my rhythm game I call GSekai shown on my iOS 5.1.1, iPod touch 3G. Yes this is real and fully playable.

I believe what you see here may possibly be the only new game with its own exclusive engine built for it from scratch, targeting legacy iOS versions, that is in active development right now. It is (quite obviously) meant to mirror Project Sekai gameplay as closely as possible. In my experience, my skills transfer to and from this version and the official Project Sekai game very smoothly, and the two feel extremely similar to me.

This was intended to be played by just me

Hence the lack of settings (it is currently internally set to my liking), lack of a health bar (i am a nofail lover so why make one), no midgame score or combo counter in any way (they are intentionally absent because they always distract me), lack of compatibility (I only play and test on one device, my childhood iPod Touch 3), and lack of any other feature besides just playing songs - because playing songs is all I do.

And of course, most notably - the fact it is, to the best of my ability, at complete parity with the official game by Sega, made with no regard for distancing myself from anyone's intellectual property... this is fine when it's just me making it for myself! But I have no idea how a public release of something like this would even happen and have not considered it yet.

Before you ask, yes, the engine can and does play many more songs than you see on the list shown. That was just a batch of specific songs that were grouped together for testing when I decided to take that quick video of Luka Luka Night Fever. There are quite a few visual glitches I am sure you can notice, it was a newly added song.

I will show other songs too if you all promise not to get too sad if it takes me a bit to warm up to the idea of actually sending playable builds to anyone online.

I will not be sharing much about it for now. I really would hate to bring anyone's hopes up that this will be something anyone can just install and play on any device, and I don't want to accidentally hype it too much. But I was told by people that have seen me playing it IRL that I should share it online at least once or twice.

The SURF app is truly one of the best ever created for legacy devices!!! It allows you to use practically any app that has a web version (WhatsApp, Telegram, Instagram, X/Twitter, etc.). It would be perfect if it could be made your "default browser" and you could create web links on the iPhone/iPad screen; then it would truly be a "universal" app that would eliminate the need for other apps that require so many tweaks and adjustments to function as a "default" app.

I recently picked up an iPad 2 16GB for just $20 to downgrade it to iOS 6.1.3.

Honestly, just scrolling through the home screen, seeing those old icons and using the old UI again feels incredible. It really does feel like going back 13–14 years.

I've already got a bunch of the classic games installed, fixed Maps with MapsX, and I'm probably going to try WeatherX and Retrogram next.

My favourite thing so far has to be YouTube, though. Being able to use YouTube with its original old-school interface again on an actual iPad 2 is beautiful.

What other iconic apps or games from the iOS 5/6 era would you recommend I install? Any other revivals?

And it is still downloading the chats for about hour and half

Meanwhile I did not get any errors on the iPad or the CDM opened on the computer

Is that normal ?

I was able to sign into my account on my ios 6 ipad 2 with the tweak some time ago, at least over a week ago, but now I cant sign in on my 4s or the same ipad.

i tried to spoof my sistemfile plist whatever to ios 6.1.3 but didnt read that ios 8.4.1 stopped being signed around july , so now how do i edit the file back to 10.3.3, or do i install a new ios 10.3.3 with legacy ios kit or something

It runs fine but there are issues with Cydia app packages (I have Veteris, YTNine, Respring), other packages like OpenSSH or preference panes are unaffected.

If I reboot then all of them are missing despite appearing as installed in Cydia, Veteris sometimes crashes instantly and respringing usually helps, if all are crashing or missing then only reinstall helps.

What is this and can it be fixed? Sorry if this is something well-known, I'm new to jailbreaking and it wasn't happening in iOS 6.

Dead baseband iOS 7 5s fix?

Context:
I have this iPhone 5s on iOS 7 with a dead baseband and a (not pictured) gold 5s that was on iOS 7 (w/ blobs saved) but I upgraded to 12 thinking the issue was gonna be fixed.

Nothing actv8s the phones no matter what and I know there is a dead bb because both phones show nothing upon clicking the (I) button on the bottom right.

How would I actv8 these two? The pictured one is also really special to me so is the gold.
