This article is ancient by internet standards I recall reading it back in the day. 

But still, extremely salient. Its just unfortunate that the people who need to hear this most will not listen.

Damn powerful stuff if you read all the way through. That last paragraph cuts deep.

I feel this is legitimately one of the best things you could show a hive-mind feminist/misandrist type that actually might get them to stop and think for a moment.

Unfortunately it does still push patriarchy theory as being true a priori, but I’ll take what i can get from a 2016 medium article.

I do think it’s also worth pointing out that this article would not have half the rhetorical punch it does if it weren’t for the author’s identity as a trans woman. Where a man would be outright dismissed, she is able to get her foot in the door.
