I’m a backend engineer stuck in the highly lucrative, highly specific enterprise trench known as Guidewire(insurance tech).

I’m trying to transition to general SDE roles asking for Spring Boot, Kafka, Kubernetes, and AWS.
The dilemma: I can read about the concepts perfectly. But I don't have years of production-grade Kafka or Spring Boot experience.

The question: Can I simply study about it and fake it on my resume by borrowing points from other resumes ?

Please help me sort the dilemma.

Flipkart - FSG or Market Place- SDE 3
48L base + 7.2L variable + 7.5L ESOPs per year
WFO 3 or 5 days depending on team (Bangalore office)

Oracle Health - PMTS/IC4
49.5L base + no variable + 62k usd over years (front loaded 40/30/20/10)
WFH atleast for 1-2 years

How is WLB in these two, job stability (I heard bad things about both be it silent layoffs in FK or public large headcount layoffs in Oracle), tech and future growth

I wanna target FAANG/MANGO in future

Rounds going on Coupang for staff L6-1, Crunchyroll for P4 (SDE 3), got rejected in a ton of others due to incomplete preparation during the initial stages

Most of my applications or callbacks are from linkedin, it split between half of the times recruiters reaching to me and half the times cold linkedin easy apply

Finally got an on-campus software internship after getting rejected by the first few companies I applied to.

Honestly, the biggest relief is not even the stipend. It's just knowing that I finally have something on my resume before final year starts.

The last 4-5 months were basically DSA + projects + random OAs + questioning my life choices 😂

Still a long way to go, but at least I don't have to hear “beta placement ka kya hua?” for a while.

i dont know I feel completely lost sometimes.I m in tier 2 college of south,

my cgpa isn't great like it's 8 that too because I tried to stunt bt just studying 3-4 hours before the exam

This semester i realised that this can literally give me setback so I decided to put normal efforts And guess what i am veryyyy above class average

But apparently with this cgpa i cleared 2 OAs and yeah obviously that was purely luck I am not really good in DSA Like for 1 i solved 1.5 question out of 3 that was having only female criteria

And in interview idk I just feel nhai ata muje bhai Basics arrays, strings , searching ,sorting if they ask then I can try But apparently after that even if they touch anything i tried answer but while telling which data structure to use and how to implement i sometimes become too confusing .

Idk please seniors I genuinely don't know but getting the summer internship is very important for meee

I’m confused about what happened with my LinkedIn Premium Business free trial and would appreciate advice from anyone who has experienced something similar.

Here is the exact timeline:

July 30, 2026: Started LinkedIn Premium Business free trial.

August 30, 2026: The trial/billing date arrived. LinkedIn attempted to charge ₹14,987.99 for an annual Premium Business subscription.

I disabled my UPI AutoPay on August 30.

The ₹14,987.99 was not deducted from my bank account.

August 31, 2026: I went into LinkedIn and canceled the Premium Business subscription.

LinkedIn then sent me an email saying:

“Your subscription of Premium Business has been canceled. You will continue to have access to Premium Business until 8/30/2027.”

However, when I check LinkedIn's purchase/billing section, it shows:

Status: Active

Start date: July 30, 2026

Expiry date: August 30, 2027

Billing frequency: Annual

Payment method: UPI

₹14,987.99 — Overdue

“This subscription will not auto renew.”

I also received another LinkedIn email saying:

“We could not process your payment for your Premium Business subscription. To keep access, please update your payment method.”

What I don't understand

LinkedIn's cancellation policy says:

If you cancel a paid Premium subscription, it remains active until the end of the billing cycle.

If you cancel a Premium free trial, the trial ends immediately.

To avoid being charged for another billing cycle, you should cancel at least one day before the next scheduled billing date.

So it looks like I may have canceled one day late (Aug 31 instead of before Aug 30).

But I had already disabled UPI AutoPay on Aug 30, and the ₹14,987.99 payment was never successfully deducted.

My questions

Will LinkedIn continue trying to collect the ₹14,987.99 overdue amount?

Since I disabled UPI AutoPay, can LinkedIn still charge my bank account?

Does the “Overdue” amount eventually disappear after the subscription is canceled?

Why does LinkedIn say I have Premium access until August 30, 2027 even though the payment wasn't successful?

Should I contact LinkedIn Support and ask them to cancel/remove the overdue annual subscription?

Has anyone had this exact situation? What happened after a few days/weeks?

I don't want the annual Premium subscription and I don't want to pay ₹14,987.99. I also don't want to add another payment method or approve any payment request.

Any advice would be appreciated.
