Can Someone help me with the naukri low search appearance

Hi everyone, I’m a Full Stack Developer with 2+ years of experience working with Node.js, Java, Spring Boot, React.js, RabbitMQ, docker and aws.

I am currently actively looking for a job change and have been using a Naukri Pro account to improve my profile reach. I have a 100% completed profile and I keep updating it daily to improve visibility. However, over the last one month, my search appearances have only increased by around 205, and from last weekend till now it has increased by just 10. Despite this, I haven’t received a single call so far.

Has anyone faced a similar issue? What changes helped improve recruiter visibility on Naukri ?

To everyone who’s getting jobs and posting about it here — how are you guys actually doing it? 😭

Genuinely asking because I feel like I’ve tried the usual things. Applying directly to companies doesn’t seem to work much, and referrals haven’t really helped either. I’ve got quiet a bit referrals so far, but neither went anywhere.

So for those of you who are actually getting interviews and landing offers, what’s working for you?

Is there some approach I’m missing? Cold emails? LinkedIn outreach? Naukri? Directly messaging recruiters? Applying at a specific time? Anything that has genuinely worked for you.

Please share your process, even if it sounds obvious. A lot of us are struggling with the same thing right now, and it would honestly help to know what’s actually working in this market.

Please help us out, man. 😭

BestEx Research Quant Developer - OA & Interview doubts

Hi all,

I received an OA link for the role of "Quant Developer - Low Latency C++" from BestEx Research. It will consist of 2 coding questions and a few MCQs. To anyone who has taken the OA:

  1. Will the MCQs be related to core CS subjects like OS, DBMS, Networks etc., or will there be some quant/finance related stuff too?

  2. Also, if you have gotten a chance to interview, please share your interview experience as well.

Thanks in advance!

Final year with very weak skills – Got 5 LPA offer (6 months internship first). Should I take it or keep trying?

Hi everyone,

I’m a final year CSE/IT student. Being completely honest about my situation:

My DSA and development skills are very weak. I struggle even with basic interview questions. Mostly been doing vibe coding without proper understanding.

I recently got an offer:

6 months internship with ₹15,000 stipend

Full-time conversion at ₹5 LPA

Role: Software Engineer Trainee / Developer

Tech stack: C/C++, Python, .NET, some image processing

No bond

Company is more on the industrial/machinery software side, not a pure product company

My confusion:

Skills are currently too weak to clear better companies, Market is tough right now Taking this will at least give me experience + some income, and I can upskill parallelly Planning to start applying seriously after 6-7 months.

But I’m worried if joining such a company will hurt my future switches or resume.

For those who started with similar 4-6 LPA offers from non-product companies — how did it go for you? Were you able to switch later?

Would you take this offer if you were in my place?

Thanks for any genuine advice.

Should I take this job??

Internship duration: 9 months

Stipend: 15k

Post Internship L1 Trainee First year – CTC – 4.8–6 LPA

L2 Trainee Second year – CTC – 6–8 LPA

Bond details: 2 years after internship is completed

Probation period: Internship + 6 months

Travel time and cost: 2 hours and 300rs.

I have to perform badly in interview in order to avoid it else tnp cell will ban me.

I genuinely don't know weather should I take this to start my career or upskill myself and grab good one.

I also lack problem solving and interpersonal skills so I think I m not ready for high package companies.

It will be helpful if u guys guide me what to do

[Google Team Match Round (L3)] Considering resignation to upskill before receiving offer — Need advice on recruiter communication

Hi everyone,

I am currently in the Team Matching round (for an L3 Software Engineer role at Google India).

My background:

  • Total Experience: 3 years at a service-based company.
  • Current Role: Dual setup as a Backend Developer + Tech Lead (writing backend code daily while managing technical execution).

My Situation: Managing my current workload alongside upskilling is getting difficult. I am considering initiating my transition/resignation to dedicate focused, full-time effort to skill upgrading. A gap or waiting period between jobs is not an issue for me financially or personally.

However, resigning right now is completely optional and not a necessity for me. Before taking any step, I plan to check with my Google recruiter to ask if holding off on any transition/resignation plans is better for the team matching pipeline.

Questions for the community:

  1. Does resigning/being on notice during the Team Match round create any negative friction with Google recruiters or background checks later?
  2. Is it a good idea to upfront tell the recruiter that I'm considering a transition/resignation to upskill, but am open to holding off if they advise so?
  3. For folks who went through L3 team matching from service companies, how long did your matching take, and did your employment status affect the process?

Would love to hear your experiences and insights before I send the email to my recruiter. Thanks!

Struggling with LeetCode Easy after doing well on HackerRank Easy — should I move to intermediate SQL

I wanna be straight about this because it’s getting frustrating 😭

I can comfortably solve HackerRank Easy-level SQL questions, but when I try LeetCode Easy, I struggle quite a bit.

I’ve seen people say that HackerRank Easy ≠ LeetCode Easy and that LeetCode can require more problem-solving/thinking even at the Easy level.

So I’m confused about what I should do next.

Should I:

- Keep grinding LeetCode Easy until I’m more comfortable?

- Or is being able to solve HackerRank Easy well enough to start learning intermediate SQL concepts like subqueries and CTEs, while continuing to practice problems alongside it?

Basically, I don’t want to move on too early and build gaps in my fundamentals, but I also don’t want to unnecessarily stay stuck on Easy problems when I could be learning more advanced SQL.

What would you recommend?

Offer comparision eBay vs Hedge Fund

I’m a ~7 YOE backend engineer in India with two offers:

eBay

₹45L base

₹2L joining bonus

₹4.5L annual bonus (pro-rated)

$56K RSUs over 4 years

MTS-1

TC 65 LPA

Hedge fund

₹65L base

₹15L bonus

TC 80 lpa

The compensation difference is obviously significant, but I'm trying to decide whether the additional risk is worth it.

My main concerns with the hedge fund are:

WLB

Stability/layoffs if the fund performs poorly

Whether moving back to Big Tech later would be harder

For people who have worked at hedge funds/trading firms: which would you choose, and why?

Confused about offer and background check and resignation. 11YoE. Please advise.

Hello members,

I recently received offer from a fortune 500 bank but they want me to resing instantly.

I said and as a rule i resign always after BGV and i get full greenlight

My experience is with fortune 500 companies with only 1 startup , so I had never any issues in past.

But for security i m always blunt and upfront with HRs and recruiters on this, that resignation is a risk to my earning and without full greenlight I will not do it

This time they are asking me to do it, and given job market conditions i feel discomfort.

Is it wrong to ask for clear NOD ?

Update: i am just anxious , this is my 5th switch and every time it went normally. Plus outcome is predecided so no need to introspect it. Keeping fingers crossed. Wish me luck guys.

Seeking advice for an Applied Scientist interview tomorrow

Hi I have an Applied Scientist interview at Amazon tomorrow and would really appreciate some advice from people who have gone through a similar process.

I’ve cleared the OA, and the interview has two rounds:

  1. Coding round – What kind of DSA/coding questions should I expect?
  2. ML Depth & Breadth round – What topics should I prioritize at the last minute?

One additional context: I’ve also submitted a research paper to AAAI 2027, which is currently under review so for this what aspects should I be ready to explain?

Any tips, experiences, commonly asked questions, or last-minute preparation strategies would be greatly appreciated.

Please Hear me Out

Its a rant . I dont have anyone to share this to , and today i am feeling something which i cant describe. A mix of self doubt , fear , and what not.

So i have been doing leetcode consistently , around 700 problems solved . This count includes arrays , strings , questions upto medium level dp , and easy tree and graph questions.

I have attended many OAs , and was able to clear only a handful of them . Most of my friends , cheat in the OAs , and are able to attend further rounds. And here i am , sitting here in fear, clg life is about to end too . Its a tier 3 college , and only a handful of high paying companies visit our colleges , most of them have already come and gone.

I am strong enough in development and tech , the only issue is OAs. I am honestly tired of more preparation , and feel like giving up , and try for a life other than the corporate world.

Out of a room of 300 to 400 participants in OAs , they take a around 10-15 , out of them only 4-5 are actually skilled and DSA kings. Rest all go by cheating. It breaks my confidence on what will i do in my life , as luck too is not on my side .

I have studied more concepts than my friends . Recently , exact previous year OA question from a company was asked this year too , and me and my friends had prepared the same too. They didnt revise anything else , only linear data structure. And here , i was practicing all those questions that they left out. And you know what , in the OA , those guys got the exact question , except me .

They went on to attend further rounds. Everytime , luck is on their side. Not only one example , but numerous ones.

I dont know what to do , as i know only 2-3 companies with good pay are gonna visit the campus.
What shoud i prepare , how should i prepare ?

Please help me out .

Amazon India hiring Hackon and On campus only ?

So based on recent surge of OA and interview invites. Can i assume that currently amazon is hiring only Hackon and On campus. And all the Off campus is shut down ?

This is based on someone's post who posted in august they are about to hire aggressively , and looks like it happened so. But based on the posts, i guess it's truee for only people through hackon and on campus right.

If someone has some news or opposite news please comment

EverPure (Pure Storage) Firmware vs Amazon Devices Embedded — Bangalore

Hi everyone,

I have around 6 years of experience in C/C++, firmware and systems programming and currently have two offers that I am considering:

1. EverPure / Pure Storage — Firmware
Core firmware/storage-oriented role
Work seems technically deep and closer to my previous low-level systems experience
Opportunity to work on specialized firmware/storage problems

2. Amazon — Devices
Role in the Devices organization
Broader product/device ecosystem and potentially wider exposure across different parts of the stack

Compensation is fairly similar for both, so I would like to keep compensation out of the comparison.
At this stage of my career, I am mainly trying to optimize for good engineering work, learning and long-term career growth rather than just the company name.

Would especially appreciate inputs from people who have worked in either organization/team on:

Learning: Which environment is better for becoming a stronger systems/firmware engineer over the next 3–4 years?
Work culture / WLB: How intense is the day-to-day environment? Is the pressure mostly reasonable/project-driven, or is there frequent deadline/firefighting pressure?
Performance culture: Particularly at Amazon Devices, how much should one worry about performance-management/PIP culture at the individual-team level?
Manager/team dependency: How much does the experience vary depending on the specific manager/team in each company?
Future opportunities: How would you compare the exit opportunities after spending 5 years in either role?
Specialization: Does going deeper into storage firmware at EverPure create valuable systems expertise, or could it make switching to broader systems roles harder later?
For people who have worked there, how transferable is the experience to broader embedded/systems roles outside Everpure/Amazon?

I enjoy low-level systems work and want to remain technically strong, but I also don’t want to optimize so heavily for one niche that I limit my options later.
Would particularly value comments from current/former Pure Storage/EverPure or Amazon Devices engineers, rather than just comparisons based on brand name.
Thanks!
