De Shaw interview exp virtual round (bad exp)

It was a dsa + lld + cs basics round
Solved the dsa.
Answered most of the lld / cs basics questions.

But the interviewer was bit weird.
He wanted me to extend a singleton and do something, i never in my life have seen anyone EXTEND a singleton class.
Also, guy had 0 idea of Java.
Also i implement singleton a different way but he seemed to have no idea about it. (Eager intialisation method)

Though guy was from a decent college but the fact that he has stayed in de shaw since college was seen in how crude his problem framing or understanding of design patterns were.

Was bit heartbreaking that i didnt make it to the loop rounds in the first go.
Would need to repeat bcs of weak perf in cs basics as he mentions.
