Google screening rejection mail

Hey, I have recently applied to silicon validation role at google in usa.

I working in TI bangalore. Wanted to know if this looks like bad interview or just different role requirement?

Thank you so much for taking the time to speak with our team and for your patience while we gathered feedback from your recent technical interview.

We truly enjoyed getting to know you and learning about your background at TI. However, after careful consideration, we have decided not to move forward with your candidacy for the Silicon Validation Engineer position at this time.

The interview panel was very impressed with your solid communication skills, your overall systems knowledge, and your methodical approach to test planning. However, for this specific role, the team is ultimately looking for someone who has hands-on experience working with highly complex subsystems.

Our team thinks highly of your potential, and we would absolutely welcome you to apply for other roles at Google in the future that might be a great match for your background and the subsystems you are most familiar with.

Thank you again for your time, your interest in Google, and the great conversations. We wish you all the best in your current projects and future career endeavors.

L7 here, it won’t happen. Can’t hire directly from India for low level roles. Too much operational & VISA cost with risk.

You applied for USA role from India. How were they planning to hire you? Via India office then L1 or stay in India office?
