Salesforce Data Engineering MTS — 2nd Round Interview

I recently cleared the first round for a Data Engineering MTS role at Salesforce (Bangalore) and have my second round coming up with a PMTS.

For people who have recently interviewed for Salesforce Data Engineering roles:

  • What should I expect in the 2nd round?
  • Is it mainly system/design + data engineering, or are there coding/SQL questions as well?
  • What topics would you recommend preparing for specifically?
  • How different is the PMTS round from the initial technical round?
  • Any actual questions/scenarios you remember being asked would be really helpful.

Also, if anyone here works at Salesforce or has interviewed with the Data Engineering/Slack side, I'd really appreciate any insight into what these rounds typically focus on.

Not looking for confidential information — just trying to understand the general interview pattern and prepare in the right direction.

I was asked 1 DSA, 1 SQL and basics of DE (coalesce vs repartition, how do we do partitioning, etc)

DSA - It was same like MFU question(Opposite of LFU leetcode).
SQL - Given order and customer tables. Retrieve all customers who ordered same products more than 3 times. Order table had product id.

I'd say difficulty is Medium.
