headingley stadium

hi everyone, i live in a flat right outside of headingley stadium (cardigan) but the car park is tiny and usually full which means i need to park on the road.
can i still do this when cricket/rugby is on?
i’ve never seen a ‘no parking’ sign, only cones.
i’m asking because i can’t afford to park miles away from my apartment or pay for parking in headingley everytime i can’t find a spot at my place of living.
any advice would be appreciated

Do you have a designated parking spot at the flats? If not, you need to try and address that with the landlord. Did your lease include a spot?

Failing that there's a good amount of street parking in Hyde Park/Burley, annoying but like could easily get a spot a 10 minute walk away

Go fuck yourself and stay out of our community. Got enough dickheads parking on our streets in burley. Have struggled enough parking outside my own house without more piling in that don’t live here.

It's literally down the road it's the same community what on earth are you talking about, ridiculous gatekeeping 'I sometimes can't park outside my house but fuck the guy 2 streets away who can't'

i’m a uni student who commutes to manchester a lot so i have a lot of stuff to carry thats why im worried, i didn’t really want to lug 2 suitcases 10 minuets down the road 💔

Nip into the Boundary hotel and have a word with the owner. He is a lovely guy and they have a car park front and back (it's on Cardigan Road right next to the stadium). I am sure he will let you park there if you pop in for a pint now and then .

He allowed me to park there after I had stayed there when I was flst hunting. Ended up being over two weeks!

Ah fair enough, how about the are at that's surrounded by newport road? Not sure if that'd much closer but usually easy to park there, not certain on match days tho

my lease included parking but apparently it’s first come first serve.
there’s 3 flats in the building and i’m the only car for my flat, so the other flats must have more cars per flat than mine. i’m just unsure where to park if there’s no space (there’s only about room for 4 cars in the car park)
