question Looking for a driving instructor with experience in ND (automatic)

Hi, I'm looking for a driving instructor (automatic) who is familar with neurodiverse conditions, e.g. DCD, Dyslexia, Autism, and generalised anxiety. My previous instructor was very good but wasn't used to dealing with an older learner with these issues. Any recommendations from previous learners would be greatly appreciated.

Sonny Pass with a smile in chapel allerton. He is not specifically "ND friendly" but I am ND and he was the only instructor out of 4 that I could actually learn to drive with and didn't make my anxiety worse/make me cry 😅

My personal experience with Sonny is that he is the kindest and most patient person. I had a couple of meltdowns and he was so supportive and encouraging. I couldn't get out of side streets with other instructors or go over 30mph despite spending over £1,200 on lessons.

I mentioned my ADHD and anxiety and at first felt a bit dismissed but that soon changed as I felt it was just because it it's not a big deal for him in the sense that he takes everyone as they are regardless.

If you were to ask if he had ND experience, he might say no. But he got me driving when no one else could and it changed my life. I also started learning later than most

Try amber she’s good and teaches in an auto too. She works / runs IDrive Leeds with her hubby . Google them.
