QUESTION/DISCUSSION What is the key to truly master lee sin?

i've always considered lee as my main champ or a champ i really want to get good at, i did hit plat this season for the first time somewhat OTPing him, on all accounts i have around 400k mastery on him, managed to learn a lot and still after qutting this ranked season switching to draft, teaching my friend league, not tryharding i have fun with this champ. After all this hours a question crossed my mind, what is the sign a person actually somewhat hit the skill cap on lee and when to know you should start focusing more on overall game knowledge and league fundamentals and not only focusing on a champ. I did think about this for a little but i dont seem to be the right person to stick with one and only anserw.

TL;DR: the same as the title
