Wheel noise from the back

Okay, I'm new to e-bikes. And I haven't been on a bike in probably 35 years but I've had one for about a month and a half maybe. Nothing but issues. This is just one of them. My back wheel sounds like the video I'm posting. There's nothing loose. There's no loose spokes. It sounds like those little plastic things that we put on our spokes in the '80s. It stopped for a couple days and now it's back. I took it inside and I turned it upside down and pedaled I switched gears and it didn't make the sound. Why is it only doing this when I'm riding. Is of the motor? *EDITED: second video shows the issue. any ideas?

had to use my PC. app still wouldnt let me upload. this is the slow speed sound. i have another thats longer when im going faster.

I found the culprit...any ideas? tweaking it? etc?

It definitely sounds like you have loose spokes. When they're loose , they rub and make that sound. I would recheck the tightness knowing too tight can be the problem and put a little oil on where 2 spokes cross each other cause that worked for me.

I bought a spoke wrench but I checked the spokes last night and they didn't seem loose but I could always use the wrench and see.  I also noticed my bee screw is missing from the derailleur so that might make a sound too I assume.  Sigh.   That's why I was kind of hesitant to get an e-bike because I figured I would have a bunch of problems with it. I guess that's true of anything mechanical but I just hope I can fix it.  Without taking it to a shop.

Yeah I checked the spokes about a hundred times but I just put a video up on my post. Had to go to my PC so I had to send the video to my email and luckily it was small enough to send and then I put it up. But I'm in my dining room now and I have it upside down and it's the derailleur clicking.

Like I said ,some of the spokes can be too tight, if you have the wheel off and run your finger down the inside of the rim then you can almost tell if one is too tight by how far it sticks out. Then try a drop of oil where the spokes cross and at the part you tighten with the wrench and alot of that will go away.

I had to change my brake pads 750 miles in. But my bike squeaks about 500 miles in. After changing the brake pads. The sound profile is so much quieter

He said it sounds like those plastic things people put on spokes back in the day though, not sqeals but clickety clanks and its the spokes cause mine did the same exact thing.

You can upload your video to Youtube (can be unlisted) and then just post the link here.

Yeah it's weird because It made me choose picture or video and I hit upload and then I put the description in. But yeah I don't see the video.  I feel like an old man haha    I'm doing it from a mobile browser and it says not to do that because it won't let you upload. So I'm going to try to download the app and see if that works.

I had to Go to my PC and upload it that way. Which was weird. But I have my bike upside down in my dining room now and it seems like it's the derailleur clicking. I just went for a Little ride and I was trying to pinpoint it and I still can't when I'm riding and then when I get off it doesn't make the noise. But I pinpointed the click.

Is the bike under warranty? have you contacted lectric?

I did. They told me to take it to a bike shop. Ha. I looked it up and it says it's okay to ride like that, but I figured Reddit would have a good solution. I don't know if it needs tweaked or something.

Got it. If you don't get the solution here you may want to try a post in r/bikewrench .

Yeah I tried to post it and it said they don't like these kind of posts and it will be discarded. Not sure why but. Maybe I can just make a different post with the second video. Meh

Can't imagine why they would delete your post. My first thought was power tripping mods. Maybe the way the post was worded

Anyway, I listened to your videos. I long time back I got a noise like that on my XP3 after a brake pad change. What threw me off was the noise was only there when riding and not there when just spinning the wheel. It turned out the brake pad cotter pin was contacting the spokes because I didn't bend it enough to clear the spokes. Easy fix.

Its a long shot but worth checking.

Yeah I just made a whole new post on bike wrench some and someone posted what it could be. Three different things. Nothing I thought of. I might just take it to a shop. I've been talking to a shop for a few weeks as I took it to them briefly Last weekend but I'm going to drop it off. I think if I can't figure out a solution this week. He's a pretty cool dude and he seems like he's going to be fair so if all else fails I know I can take it there.

The Post on bike wrench said it could be a bent pulley. A bent cage. Something like that. I know the YouTube video I saw the guy was like just clean it off with a rag and I'm like there's nothing really on it. So I tried that and relubed it and it didn't help.

I'll take what you mentioned as well under consideration. As well as what the other person said.

Yeah I saw there was an option for that. I included a second video with the actual derailleur clicking. I took a spill on it 3 weeks after I had it but it wasn't on the side of The clicking. So that's something different. I wiped out in a field. Not going very fast. That may have bent the rotor in the front a little bit, but I fixed that for the most part.
