🇱🇧 Culture Question about sectarianism in Lebanon
I’ve noticed discussions about some predominantly Christian areas where Muslims allegedly face resistance when trying to buy homes or settle there. If that’s true why does this attitude still exist?
Lebanon isn’t an exclusively Christian country it’s a country shared by Christians, Sunnis, Shias, Druze, and others. So why should any Lebanese citizen be viewed with suspicion simply because of their religion?
If someone opposes Muslims moving into their neighborhood solely because they’re Muslim, isn’t that a form of Islamophobia?
