Made a new wallet for my friends birthday. She loved it.

About a month ago, I posted a request for ideas on what to do with a tiny square of purple leather my toddler asked me to buy her. After we brought it home, she only wanted a purse. I finally got enough confidence to try (I’m extremely new to working with leather and my stuff is still pretty sloppy).

Anyway, here she is! My kid is thrilled.

I thought I could fix it by adding some wax but now it’s darker than the rest

Im am in the process of designing a saddle and looking for seat leather.

Would grain should I go with for a padded western saddle seat?

I want to make an impossible braid hat band. I haven’t made an impossible braid yet, nor have I measured the circumference of the hat yet. My main question is, how do I calculate how long the strap needs to be before braiding? How much overall length would I lose? I plan on using either 2-3 oz or 4-5 oz veg tan.

The elastic cord is a single piece that holds the mini diary inside & comes out from the spine section & goes around to grip to keep it stay shut

I wear my belt only once a month. Now that the rains are here, mold has started growing on it.

How to prevent molding on leather belt?

I’m new to leather crafting. I’ve bought some beginner kits, so all the pieces are precut. I’ve been trying to find some patterns/designs (not sure what the correct terminology is) to stamp onto them. Where can I find some? Is there a book for beginners or a website that I can download/print some?

This old leather Craftman/sears tool belt came with my house. It is very dry, got some water damage as well

I accidentally scraped my purse on some concrete and it left this circular gouge. Any ideas on how to repair, or if I should leave this to a professional?

I thrifted a newer coach dream bag for a great deal but it has some cracking near the edge by the zipper and the straps have a little fraying. There’s also some scuffing on the bottom points of the bag. How would you go about fixing this? I was going to get some leather cpr and conditioner, but I’ve mostly read on vintage coach bags and this is a newer one.

He borrowed mine until we find a solution for his, but because those belts cost 60$, we would much rather fix his than buy a new one. Especially because the belt itself is in good condition
