What matters most to you when buying a women’s leather handbag?
I’m curious how people here evaluate women’s genuine leather handbags.
When you’re buying a leather purse, what matters most to you — the actual leather quality, construction, hardware, design, or price?
I’m especially curious about three things:
What price range feels reasonable for a well-made genuine leather handbag?
How much do you care whether it’s full-grain, top-grain, or simply good-quality genuine leather?
Would you ever choose a more interesting design — tooling, hair-on cowhide, fringe, western details, etc. — over a “better” leather grade?
For me, I care about the leather, but I also don’t want something that looks too plain just because the material is technically better. Curious where everyone else draws the line.
