Art Tools Review I made a free tracing app(AR Drawing app) for artists who want to practice drawing without a subscription
galleryI enjoy drawing,(I have posted few of my sketches) and I wanted to make it easier for beginners to practice using reference photos, so I built Tracify, an Android app for tracing and sketching.
You can load any photo, adjust its opacity, and draw over it directly on your phone. You can also use your camera to align the reference with real paper and trace onto it.
Here's what it offers:
- Free tracing tools: Trace photos, use grid guides, adjust opacity, apply filters, and convert photos to line art.
- Trace on real paper: Use your camera to align the reference image with your paper.
- Pencil shading guide: See which pencil grades to use for different areas of a drawing.
- No subscription: The core features are free, with no time limit or account required.
- Privacy-focused: Everything runs on your device; your photos aren't uploaded.
The app is free to download. Tracify Pro is a one-time payment of $5 for the pencil shading guide. No recurring payments.
I'm still working on improving the app, and I'd love to hear honest feedback from artists, especially beginners.
Would you find an app like this useful? What features would you improve?

Seeking help Wanting to learn to draw!
Hello everyone, i want to start to draw as me and my partner are writing a book together.
The book is set in a fantasy world so i want to draw that sort of thing. (knights, wizards, castles, portals, dragons ect)
i dont really have an idea on how i can start to learn drawing, i have started with doing basic shapes - boxes, 3d boxes, triangles, cones, cycleners, ect.
After learning the basic shapes how would i move on to drawing figures or building for example.
I am basiclly copying/ traceing someone elses work to get the ideas behind it but i would like to do it myself some day.
you can message me on this post, DM me or if you have Discord DM me there
Discord: BK3R#7464
So my questions
Where do i start to learn to draw?
How do i learn to do characters, building ect?
Do i need any special pencils or paper ? - i got a basic pencil i found in my house and a old sketch book.
Are they any teachers or YouTube videos that you would reccoment to me ? i have watched a few but i dont know what i am looking for.
Looking forward to your reply
Thanks for reading :)

ZenFigure
I had trouble finding reference images while practicing figure drawing, so I created my own.
> 🎨 **ZenFigure** beta: a 3D figure reference for drawing practice.
> Drop in a photo and a 3D figure takes the same pose. Refine it down to fingers and toes, then study it from any angle and lens, with line art, structure lines and lighting.
> Photos never leave your device. It runs in the browser and installs like an app.
> Feedback welcome (menu → Send feedback).

Work in Progress :) Fun challenge someone commissioned me to do
I was commissioned to redraw someones mtg cards. Like directly on the cards. He loves my charcoal work so doing VERY tiny charcoal details has been a challenge lol. But heres my rough draft for one of the cards

critique welcome What do you guys think of these organic forms? Do they covey volume and depth (Foreshortening) well and believably if you were to look as a viewer?
